Agreed. Once I get the money (school loan refunds ftw!) I am going to get a Vitamix. I have a juicer but I think the Vitamix is a better investment, you get all that nutritious pulp!

6'1 Very fat. Goal weight 185-190. You can add me. I don't post updates all that often and I always read my news feed. I wish the notifcations for MFP actually worked! Maybe then I'd interact more. I'll send a request, anyhow.

Great! I was almost under the 300 mark then I quit smoking.....:-( I was so mad when I stepped on the scale and it said, 390...and then it was unreadable. I gave up for a year and a half. Became a vegan after meeting some really cool bodybuilders (well, one bodybuilder who kinda sweet talked me, the whole bodybuilder…

I was on a water pill when I weighed 140 lbs more for my high blood pressure. When I lost the weight, my blood pressure went down, they took me off. I am calling my doc right now. Thanks.

I drink like a fish. Maybe that is the problem. I weigh different times of the day, different days. Thanks.

Yep. I belong to one of those groups. I'll post there. Thanks.

My weight fluctuates. I can't get back to the orignal weight. Is what I mean. I started out weighing one thing. I can't get back to that weight. I can weigh one thing one day and the next another and the next another but never the original weight. When I do get back there, I gain more weight. Then I weigh one thing and…

Yesterday I weighed one thing. Today I've gained four pounds. I don't know how you can 4 lbs overnight. Then lose it the next day.
-
The thing is I can gain 4 lbs in a day and lose it the next. I am not sure why

Hey, Debs. Yes, I hate looking in the mirror too. But I feel good about what I am doing, here on this site, in my diet (just recently became a vegan), and my commitment to weightlifting and interval training. It's knowing you have to start somewhere and taking the initiative. I'll add you.

I'm in! I can't follow diet advice because most people aren't vegans :-(. But I want to get this done!

This is a good thread. I am looking for products that will supplement my vegan diet. I have some LifteTime Life Body protein. Very chalky and the xylitol they add with the stevia gives it a weird aftertaste. Thanks for the ideas. I'm going to check them out.

I agree, agree. I get mad in the gym when I see women just running on the treadmill. I go to the squat rack, in the mirror to deadlift, I can't bench heavy as my chest is really weak (when I was younger I carried around Triple H cups so...yeah) but with each bench my chest gets stronger. Deadlifting 110 Lbs easy (need to…

YESSS! I assume you are a nutritionist/dietician?? You make a lot of sense.

Yes, healthy carbs are good. In fact, you need carbs (whole grains, etc) for energy which is probably why she feels moody and tired. I just wouldn't do it, especially if you are doing cardio.

Metal. I use Metallica, Hatebreed (no, they aren't a hate group, lol), Avenged Sevenfold etc. And some rap. LL Cool J (Old school- I'm bad) and Jay-Z. I use a mix. I have an Android and I use the app PowerAmp ($4.99). It's the best player and replaces my iPod. Hope this helps!

I was a big boobied girl. I was a C in 7th grade, a D in eigth grade, a full E in tenth. When I gained a ton of weight, I went to a HHH. I got a breast reduction. I am a triple D. I WANT THEM STILL! I have A LOT of weight to lose. If I was already a big boobied gal, will I still be? I had a fantastic athletic body in 7th…
