I know that this topic has been posted before, but I am looking to update my work out playlist and am looking for some suggestions. Especially looking for fast songs with a beat to keep me going while I am running! What are your favorites?

Metal. I use Metallica, Hatebreed (no, they aren't a hate group, lol), Avenged Sevenfold etc. And some rap. LL Cool J (Old school- I'm bad) and Jay-Z. I use a mix. I have an Android and I use the app PowerAmp ($4.99). It's the best player and replaces my iPod. Hope this helps!

I wish my gym had free wi-fi, then I could use Pandora!

Otherwise, I just keep a running playlist in iTunes that I sync with the iPod. I mentioned this in another thread just yesterday but the artists will range from

Eminem and other rappers (old school rocks, too!)
Blink 182 / Offspring / Foo Fighters and other 90s alternative
Chemical Brothers / Moby / Fatboy Slim...
    Green Day / 3OH3 / Black Keys / 311
    Sublime
Justin TImberlake / Lady Gaga / Black Eye Peas / Outkast
Rage Against the Machine / Korn
    Flogging Molly

    and way more.

I listen to hard rock, metal, and punk...I need to update my running/workout mix because I uploaded some new CDs, but here's a sample of bands I listened to this AM:
Taking Dawn, Far From Finished, Green Day, Nickelback, Halestorm, Civet, Framing Hanley, Flatfoot 56, The Threatened (local Denver band), Social Distortion...

Yay!! I find that I can listen to majority of jam bands while power-walking. There are a few Phish songs that will get me going: Chalkdust Torture, Runaway Jim, Down with Disease, Weekapaug Groove, Antelope... and then really the only Dead song I could get into was St. Stephan. I could see Keller, and have worked out to Rusted Root but only their song Ecstasy. The Who- do you have Won't Get Fooled Again? If not you should throw it in there too :)

I run outside usually so Pandora wouldn't work for me. Aqua, nice, I haven't listened to Aqua in years. Maybe I should download a song or two.

I can see how Time Warp could get ya goin'.

Thanks for the other suggestions. Got a few ideas :)
