It's most probably water weight.

it will take a while until I'm done with CLX. 3 to 4 months. I will not start Focus until December or January, I guess...

Yes, 2 whole months without shoes. Carpet or rug were not enough, though - any time I went somewhere for a weekend and took my laptop with me and worked out without my mat I got shin splints. As soon as I went home and used the mat again - no shin splints. I started losing weight during the recovery week and in the…

Not, it is not gross. It is GENIUS. I never got the idea to put it into my coffee. I did today and it tastes like a mocha. Thank you!!! (I mixed it with milk first, then added it to my coffee. This way I had absolutely no clumps).

Redlybird, if you don't have a HRM, use "circuit training" to log it. Do not log the whole thing though - the stretch at the end and the strech after the warm-up don't count. Usually if the workout took 40 minutes I logged 30 max, if it took an hour, I logged 45-50 minutes. Just be honest with yourself.

could you get some used ones? I agree, 12.5lbs per each will be too light for some exercises very soon.
-
During the Burn Phase the heaviest weight that Chalene seems to use is 25lbs. I don't know about other phases yet.

Eat well, get enough sleep and find a place where you report every day and where you find support. This program is tough but doable. I loved the moment of putting a red X on my workout calendar :)

I just completed Insanity and started a different program but just wanted to congratulate you all and tell you to make sure you get enough sleep! Also, I was very hungry during the first few weeks of the program. Make sure you eat enough. I did all Insanity workouts without my shoes on, on a nice 1cm thick workout mat, I…

I did burn intervals and abs for the first time yesterday. I'm not too crazy about these 2. But I sweated all the same. Time for burn circuit 3 today. do we want a thread where everyone starting CLX can post her/his stats, weight of dumbells etc?
-
I also just started a couple of days ago. Before that, I completed Insanity and wanted a chance of pace (and a new face to look at ;) ). I am on day 4.
-
I just started Chalean Extreme - Focus T25 might be my next stop when I'm finished!

I lost 4lbs, 3cm in my waist, 1cm in my chest, 1cm on each thigh. I haven't taken the "after" picture yet. My body has changed and I can see it in the mirror, especially in my shoulders, my chest and the obliques. My legs slimmed down as well. I found 2 workouts that I really like and I will incorporate them into my other…

You can start standing against a wall, too.
-
Yes it is. But you are supposed to be shaking, gasping for air, dizzy and nearly vomiting at the end and unable to peform another 4 minutes. Tabata is supposed to last 4 minutes during which you push yourself to your absolute limit. What you did was high intensity interval training.

When I started the Shred, which I did before Ripped in 30, I couldn't do one single military pushup. When I started RI30, I could already so a few. You will be surprised how fast it goes. If you can, get a set of weights. You will need heavier weights for some exercises if you want decent results.

I always did the Abs immediately after Cardio workouts both in month 1 and 2. In month 2, however, I did my Fit Test on Sunday (or any other day when I didn't feel so drained). Many people I know also did.
-
Circuit training it is :) Remember that the real training only takes 18-20 minutes, though. The rest is warm up and stretching. Have fun! I had fantastic results with Ripped in 30.

I disliked Tanya in the beginning. At the end of the program she was my mate. Ariel is intimidating but I love how concentrated she is and how well she performs, while Anna is like the girl next door. If Josh is the Afroamerican guy then I like him, too, because even he, with his amazing abs, needs so stop quite often…

Try it if you are in decent shape. I think it's a good combo but it will be exhausting. Insanity workouts are longer, up to an hour in month 2. And you will be doing push-ups, jumps, squats and many moves in plank position so it's not just cardio but resistance training as well - make sure you get enough good carbs from…
-
I love how happy you look in your second pic. Congratulations on your success!
-
Agree: log it as circuit training but don't log 27-28 minutes - substract the stretching and some of the warm-up. I usually logged 18 or 20 minutes.
-
Me too.

Many people don't lose anything until recovery week or Phase 2. It was the same in my case. I got stronger, I saw a difference in the mirror, I lost inches but the scale didn't move. After a month I lost 2lbs and then 2 more. That's it. And still everybody around me commented on how much slimmer I look. It's not just about…

The only active CLX group I have found is called Chalean Extreme Support Group. I joined to see what it's like.

Hi Chasero, how good to know that you are okay. I wondered what happened. Yes, MPF does remove old PMs, that's why you are not seeing them anymore. Most people here who were reporting daily completed Insanity. I still have 6 workouts to to, because I was in Finland in the meantime, but I will be finished by the end of the…

That's what I thought yesterday. No jumping? It's like I'm not working out. But today everything hurts. Ouch!
-
I just tried Chalean Extreme today. Wow, what a difference. No jumping, no running, slow movements. I think I'll like this one. But I do miss Shaun T, too (never thought I would say that). When are you planning to start CLX, ladies?
