I love bread and rice! I don't know if cutting it out completely is a good thing to do, but maybe cutting back is better.

My suggestion is to go STRAIGHT to the gym after work and trade 1 meal a day for a salad!

Yes, moderation is the key. I say eat what you want, but not too much of it and excercise. I lost over 40 lbs doing just that. If you can give me advise on how to loose 10 more, I would love it!
