This exactly. I am at a 1/2 lb per week loss now that I am within 10 lbs of my goal weight. It was very hard to see progress on the scale given the natural weight fluctuations and scale inaccuracies. I am now doing monthly weigh-ins and as long as the trend is going in the right direction I am happy. Yes, it's slow and…

Fellow Bookworm here. I won't even attempt to list my favorite authors because I truly have so many. I like different genres and have pretty eclectic tastes but always stay in fiction. Non-fiction, and biographies and such I don't do much of if at all.

When I get stuff from the Deli counter I have asked the clerk if I can see the nutrition label off the unopened package. Then I take a quick snapshot of it with my smartphone and figure it out later here on MFP. Once the girl brought out this huge Block of Swiss Cheese and gave me a funny look but I told her I just needed…

I wish I could remember where I read/heard this but it's my understanding that walking on the treadmill is not the same as walking outdoors. What I recall reading was that if you walk on the treadmill to always have it on at least 1% incline, or something like that. At the least it said not to leave it flat. That can cause…

Don't forget you are supposed to eat back your exercise calories, especially if you have selected sedentary as your activity level. Enter your walks even if you don't think they burn that much. It will add them to your daily goal and you will end up being closer to your BMR. You want to NET the goal MFP gives you.

I can relate. I'm 5'5" and 143 and currently wear a US size 6. In high school I was 135 and wore a size 9. More recently in fact at my heaviest I was 168 and still managed to squeeze into a size 10/12. However I had no strength or muscle definition and was very squishy. I've lost about 25 pounds now. The difference as you…

This is exactly how I use them as well. My hubby doesnt dine with me on Sunday so if I'm not feeling like cooking I usually will have one for a quick dinner, but I also pair it with a salad or something. And of course drink plenty of water. :flowerforyou:

Same here. Maybe once a week or every other week I'll have one.

I feel the same way. And I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment. :flowerforyou:

I usually stop around 9 pm or 10 pm for no real reason. I just tend to not eat anymore past that time. It's not something carved in stone, I have on occasion eaten past this but I keep it a light snack. Again, no real reason. That's my usual time if I'm at home. I don't put any real restrictions that's just how it somehow…
