yeah I'm with you guys. I don't much care for that part that was quoted in bold above. By whose standards am I considered un-fit If I can't run x distance in x amount of time? :grumble:

Driving. I never learned to drive or got my driver's license when I was a teenager. I don't have a problem being a passenger in a car, but every time I get behind the wheel when friends offer to teach me, I just get anxiety attacks and sweat and feel sick to my stomach. It's something I have to overcome because not driving…

coffee and a greek yogurt is something I'll have often. I workout early-ish and I don't like a lot sloshing around my tummy but I do need a little something to keep me going. edit to add: After my workout I usually have a whey protein shake or Kashi cereal or eggs or something more substantial (it's mid morning by the time…

no to the gaining muscle. yes to the losing fat.

You have done an amazing job. Your story (and stats) are very similar to mine. As I read your story I kept nodding and saying, "me too". I'm at the point where I just finished the C25K (today in fact, yay me) and I have Insanity lined up next, but I keep thinking it might be time to start lifting. Thanks for the…

Many of you are suggesting swimming or pool exercises. But I'm pretty sure the OP said in her opening post that she does not get her hair wet and also that the chlorine triggers allergies. Just pointing that out. I agree that swimming is a good low impact option but obviously she needs other suggestions. Which she is…

I haven't had a wellness exam in a long time because my husband was laid off of work and we lost our health insurance. It was actually one (of many) reasons I decided to lose weight and get healthy because I (literally) couldn't afford to get sick. I am happy to report that my hubby has found work and come next month our…

I use a Polar FT4 and on days I run (doing C25k on week 9 woot!) I burn about 300-350 calories. On the off days I don't run I do JM 30DS and I burn about 200-ish if I am ambitious and really push myself to follow the un-modified moves. I am a 5'5 female and weigh 144.

My first thought was could be morning sickness? Is that a possibility? Get to the drugstore and buy a test to rule it out!! edited to add I just re-read your post and you said dizziness as well. That could be something else entirely. Better let a Dr. figure that out. :flowerforyou:

I love having pineapples with cottage cheese. I use canned pineapples. the label says 2 pineapple slices or "x" grams in parentheses. I weigh the 2 slices and it's always less than the "x" grams. I can usually get 3 slices to weigh up the "x" grams listed. I want the extra slice of pineapple!! So count me in for being in…

I am no expert on running (at all) but I've heard that it helps to shorten your stride if you are suffering from shin splints. I could be wrong, someone more knowledgeable might confirm or deny that.
