Maybe you should only log desserts, snacks, and alcohol calories. Then you can see where your weaknesses lie. It will make you more aware of the 'non-meal' calories.

5'4" and currently at 160 pounds, size 10 jeans. Would like to get to where ever it is to get into size 8 jeans comfortably. Somewhere in the high 130's to mid 140's most likely.

I also live on the wrong side of the pond. Gotta wait and see. I did love Clara in her debut.

Do you want to drop the 60 pounds ASAP or safely? Your calorie intake is dangerously low at 1,000 for your weight! Muscle burns more calories on a daily basis - more muscle means a higher calorie burn while you are sleeping. Exercise as much as you can as often as you can. Cardio, Strength Training, Flexibility Exercises,…

I have had a plateau last 6 weeks. Take your measurements! I also lost over 4" off my waist and hips during the plateau. Test your endurance. How many flights of stairs can you walk up now? There is other progress you are making while your body regulates itself. Shake up your body a bit. Go 200 calories over Monday, 50…

I found that www.walking4fun.com has gotten me to increase my steps. I use an Omron 303. the site has photos of 3 different trails. (Spain, France, and USA) As you 'walk' the trail you get to see the photos of where you have been, with a map. Friends on the same trail can race for a friendly competition.

My general recommendations: Put your activity as sedentary. Why? 1. Because then you can log all your exercise / activity. 2. Because it helps compensate for that 'little bite' you didn't feel you needed to log, or that serving size that was a little too big . At 190 never, ever, ever go above 2100 net calories. This is…

1. When the weight stalls check the inches. 2. Check to see if you are under estimating calories. Is that bowl of cereal really only 1 cup (8 oz) or did you pour two cups to fill the bowl? 3. Are you overestimating calorie burn or are you using a heart rate monitor?

I just google HCG Diet. Scary. I would rather take the weight off slowly and keep it off. But I wish you luck, if that is what you decide to try.

I believe you can reset the RHR. Through the fitness test maybe? I upgraded to the FT 40 and it is a little different.

It is not too low for you. For estimated numbers: You Resting Metabolic Rate is 11 times your weight. (about 1573 for you) It takes 3,500 calorie loss to burn 1 pound of fat. Most figure this at subtracting 500 per day for 7 days. This is a very doable rate, not to mess up your metabolism, UNLESS this number brings you…

Do it for yourself, not someone else! Not your kids, not your Mum, not the doctor. Do you truly want to be healthy? Do you want to enjoy time with your family? Yes or No! Yes? There's your motivation. No? There's your problem. Want to get a serving size lesson? Go pour yourself a bowl of cereal. Don't read on until you…

Is this challenge for Wii Fit only or any Wii Active game?

I switched to caffeine free diet Pepsi. When I went out to eat I would order a water with lemon. So that cut down my soda intake to about 10 a day. I was careful not to have caffeine soda once I broke the addiction. I substituted Diet Sierra Mist / Sprite when I could, or even root beer. Then diet Coke and diet Pepsi…

I am buying a Polar FT4 because so many forum friends recommended it. I like that it computes calorie burn and heart rate. On Amazon it runs under $70. There are more advanced Polar HRM for under $100. Some have a GPS to track your running.
