I've found that I have the best results when I pack everything for the gym the night before. I have everything laid out so the only thing I have to do is brush my teeth, wash my face, get into my gym clothes and GO! Anything more than that, and I won't go. PS- I use Melatonin on tough nights too, and it seems to help :D

For breakfast, I love eating Quaker's weight control instant oatmeal. 7g of protein per package. I oftentimes have two and then a greek yogurt. I know people who have lost weight by walking, so I think it works. The results won't be nearly as rapid as running, but, as you said, you're still burning more calories than you would be if you just laid down watching TV.

I broke a plateau by simply upping my calories! It seemed counter intuitive at first, but I feel so much better. This isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle change. I'm a believer in TDEE-20%
