I love to cook too! I wish I had more time to do lately, but I do whenever I get a chance.

Gotta try this!

I started out eating below BMR. My initially weight loss was terrific, I dropped 15 pounds in about 2.5 months. After that, I platueu'd...it was like I hit a brick wall. As I began slowly increasing my calories, I found I had more energy at the gym, and I was losing again (after not budging a pound for 2 months).

This ^^ People put up too much online these days. I don't even work in customer service, but there are still many things about my job that I just don't post-- not because it's policy, but because it's tactful. Not dismissing cheapskate, but you never respond to conflict on the level it was started-- that's what my dad told…

It was in poor taste on both ends. As a Christian, the pastor's actions disgust and repulse me (wish I could come up with a stronger word). BUT it was probably in poor taste to post it online to a PUBLIC site-- it's not even like it was the waitress' private Facebook page, it was a public site...NOT the best idea. But,…

I had Siggi's for the first time last week! The texture is different from greek yogurt, and it's not nearly as sweet, BUT its even healthier.

Loving the responses here. Bumping for later reading :-)

Can I set my TDEE to sedementary and then log my exercise calorie burn? Does it work like that? I don't work out every day, and I like the fact that it adjusts my calorie intake for excersice I did during the day. I've been increasing my calories since last month.

Definitely the face first. My thighs have gotten a little smaller, but they've always been ridiculously large. My stomach has been a little stubborn-- it's shrunk a little, but it's definitely holding out!

I wish, I'm only 22 :-)
-
Bump!
-
lacey88 I'm going with 19 or 20!
-
22...love it, though! People usually think I'm a highschooler. Finally breaking the baby face :-)

Lady Zumba, your pic makes it hard because I can't see your face. I'll say 29?

The difference between $15 and $100 is more than just "a few".

Would it work with Almond Milk? #DumbQuestion

Wow! Congrats!

LOL!

Love both. As a native New Yorker, I grew up on NY pizza, but whenever I'm in Chicagoland, I have to go to Giordano's in Evanston-- it's a must. In fact, I was just there last week-- so freakin good. Can't sneeze at Umbertos on Long Island either, though.

Congratulations! Wow, great job!

Am I the only person who still drinks soda? I only have it once a week or so...but I gotta have my soda! I've tried those clear sparkling waters. Sometimes they'll do, but other times...well...

Agreed, I think it was a given that some foods do have to go. But, if you're really craving it, you can always exercise to get those calories in. I used to LOVE going to Johnny Rockets for their shakes (800+ cals). Sadly, I haven't had once since....I think September? It's not that I've banned myself from it, I'm just too…

Glad to see other people who don't cut things out-- just moderate them. When I first started losing weight, I was super regimented-- then I binged. Now I realized it's all about portion control. There are some crappy foods that I did give up that I felt I could live without, but otherwise, give me my sweets (in moderation,…

You're right-- they are two different things. i guess a couple of sessions wouldn't hurt.

This explains SO MUCH. I thought I was the only one sneezing up a storm every time I did cardio! For me, most of the sneezing was after I went to the gym.

I have this problem when I'm in the office during the day. I've tried bringing in fruit like grapes in my office, and it does help.

When I do early morning workouts before work, I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS have EVERYTHING packed the night before. I'm super lazy in the mornings, so I don't want to contend with having to get ready and pack my gym bag. Also, since I'm not totally coherent in the mornings, it is imperative for me to pack (nothing worse than…

Sorry to double post, but this is exactly me. If I knew my food diary was being shared, I'd probably fabricate it.

There's too many judges on here who never went to law school, and too many doctors here who never went to med school. I don't want people's unsolicited advice on my eating habits. You know what? Sometimes I don't eat right, and I feel bad that night when I look over my food diary-- I don't need a parade of people to carry…

So if I run my TDEE calculation without excersise, can I log it then? I kinda liked having my activity logged and seeing my numbers go up and down :(
