Once this final stubborn lb goes I am going shopping. Its desperately needed because my clothing is hanging off me right now.
-
I intend to keep my exercise routine and just eat a little more.
-
Do people really complain about ab pictures? I always find them so motivating.
-
The great thing about spinning class is you do it at your own pace. No one can see how much you are turning the resistance. One instructor always points out that you are only going against yourself in spin class.

It makes a lot of sense to me. I used to be very active in the church and life did kinda revolve around food. I cant think of an event (excluding actual church services) that didn't involve food.

I used to be the baggy clothing wearer and slowly turned into the figure hugging clothing. I just found its much better for working out in. Once you get to know the skinny people you realise that most work very hard for their figures. I totally admire them. I used to be the early morning gym goer because I was totally…

Its hard for a woman to bulk up. We women are built differently to men. Anyway back to question any cardio is good. If you want to tone up you as well you are going to want to do some weights.
-
Its been fine for me but its not something thats going to be right for everyone. Do go back to your doctor if you are not happy.
-
Yep Yoga really does work.
-
As long as you eat right too then yes. The vast majority of my weight loss (50lbs) came through walking alone however I never toned up. Now for the last few lbs I have a varied routine and am starting to get a much better shape.

I cut soda a few years ago. Don't miss it at all now. The first few weeks were hard though. Juice I still have occasionally.

I wasn't very well and was generally struggling to do much. I was just over 200lbs which I had in my head wasn't too bad because lots of people were heavier than me and not suffering. My doctor told me to lose weight and it would help my health problems. I did and things got better. What I now realise is that some people…

I take the numbers from my heart rate monitor and created a C25K option

I built my fitness up extremely slowly. I first asked to doctor what I was allowed to do. She wrote me a note to take to the gym. I then got a personal trainer who worked with me. I started just doing work on the bike, walking on the treadmill and some weights. This was a maximum of three times a week. I then took on body…

I run 5k in 30minutes on the threadmill. I can barely run 1 minute on the roads. Something I really want to get better at. Threadmill is easier but I really think there is more benefit road running.

I say that I have a number in my head and its a totally healthy bmi. I know that I don't need to lose weight because I am now a healthy weight but as someone who was overweight I want to hit the all important goal weight and stay there.
-
Congrats. I really hope to be hitting my goal next week. I am really proud of you its a long hard journey to get to goal.
-
Yep they are the one place I didn't lose weight. I get more out of proportion the more I lose. Doing weights has dropped me from a GG to a G but thats it.
-
You do look years younger. Awesome job.
-
I would guess that you have been putting to much weight on your arms when standing up. Its very easy to do especially when you have a lot of resistance on.
-
I hated spinning at first but gave it a proper go. I now do it three times a week and love it. Its great being able to go at your own pace. You don't know how hard the others are working so you can focus 100% on yourself. I would recommend going to a few beginner classes if possible. The instructor takes it a little easier…

Yep thats my issue too. I can see looking in the mirror I am not underweight. Yes I have very little now to get to my perfect level but even that is not a level thats underweight.
-
I know it works differently for everyone but for me food as a reward would be very wrong. I am trying to make a lifestyle change.
-
I am in a normal range and it is saying I am underweight. Not agreeing with that one at all. Very misleading.
-
Very cool. How does he look now? Has he lost further weight or maintained (I am always curious as to how they do after the show).
-
I was just about to make the same point. I am less than 2lbs from my ideal weight and work out 6 times a week. I struggle to get much more than 500 cals per hour burn. If I took my burn when I started my journey (back when walking up a hill was tiring) then I would guess at my burn being double what it is now.
-
I would bet that she actually looks in the mirror and sees herself as a girl much bigger than you. Don't take it personally its probably more about her distorted view of herself.
-
Yikes what a total creep. I am so glad management took it seriously. Hopefully now you will be able to enjoy your workouts.

If you don't feel comfortable talking to him then speak to management. It is extremely creepy.
