A combo of reduced sodium soy sauce, oyster sauce and water is my favorite! Got it from Laura Vitale. Also fresh ginger and garlic plus green onions as garnish.

I really wanted to point to the signs on literally every wall that say "The rest machines are in the hallway" with a picture of a bench. I doubt that would have worked either though lol

Eat when you want, meal timing does not help or inhibit weight loss. If you're hungry then eat!

Vodka soda with lime or crown royal on the rocks are good choices. Getdrunknotfat.com is a great resource, soda will more than double the calorie content so either avoid or go with diet.

I love tea, drink it every day. For caffeinated (not so much these days) I love Jasmine Green (gets bitter so don't steep too long), Black Currant a black tea from Peet's coffee, white coconut creme from Art of Tea, earl grey. For decaf I drink mint almost every day, honey lavender is nice, chamomile, peach (not sure on…

Be careful before applying to to your face. It is extremely comedogenic for some people. Spot test to be safe, some people end up with huge breakouts even weeks after applying it.

My housemate likes to take ground turkey and mix it with onion, garlic, spinach plus whatever she feels like at the time and makes them into equal size balls and bakes them in cupcake tins. She usually puts these on top of salad or along size some veggies. I haven't tried this yet but I plan to sometime next week, they…

I love having a bowl of cottage cheese with a diced tomato and black pepper sprinkled on top. Its so satisfying and delicious.

I try to eat dinner at 7:30, 8:30 is the latest because I will have trouble sleeping at night. If I eat late I will get nightmares and wake up 5-8 times a night for whatever reason.

I like to take zucchini and squash or eggplant and cut them into chunks and saute them for a bit with a little oil along with some onion & garlic. Once they are semi cooked add a can of diced tomatoes along with basil, oregano, italian spices and a bay leaf. Let that simmer for a while and you have a really yummy & healthy…

I really like snap peas, they are filling, healthy and cheap

I've been replacing all or part of my breakfast with a protein shake and I haven't found any difference in my food cravings come mid afternoon. I don't know how to advise you to stop snacking, as that is a huge problem for me as well  The only thing I can think of is to snack on veggies that really fill you up like…

Net calories are calories you consume minus calories burned. If you eat 1800 calories but then burn 300 you will net 1500.

I'll definitely have to try them without the oil! They are definitely juicy all on their own.

I absolutely love roasted beets and they are so easy, you just rub some oil on them and roast them for about an hr and the skin just falls off. Also roasted brussel sprouts cut in half with a little oil with salt and pepper.

Cauliflower mash as an alternative to mashed potatoes is great! It feels like you're eating potatoes but with none of the guilt

Gluten free soy sauce is expensive and sometimes difficult to find but La Choy is actually gluten free and is pretty cheap. Its not the same as kikkoman but my gluten free friends who feel deprived without their soy sauce find it is not bad.

this thread has a lot of good ideas in it, I also posted my favorite: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1082092-gluten-free-and-vegan-recipes

Just want to make sure you know that coconut oil as well as any other oil will eat through latex, so if you are having sex on the same day you used it as a personal lubricant it is best to use a non latex condom.

Saute whatever seasonal veggies you like I do Squash & Zucchini or Eggplant in some butter or olive oil. Be sure to at least lightly salt the veggies so they release their liquids. Once they are fairly close to done pour in a can of crushed tomatoes. Start making a good red sauce with tons of basil, oregano, italian…

I second this! Old Navy is the only place I can find jeans that fit me! I always have issues finding jeans that fit my butt & thighs that aren't too loose in the waist. Also thrift store are amazing, they have cheap jeans (you're only gonna fit in them for a little while if you keep with your plan) and they are already…

OP didn't specify how many servings but when I typed it in it came up with 1,640 calories for the entire recipe. I assumed this would serve about 4 people, which would be 410 calories per person.

This white bean chili is sooo good! I know she says to add sour cream & chips but I find it unnecessary in all honesty. If anything fat free sour cream works too. The chips of course make it even better but its great by itself. http://pinchofyum.com/white-chicken-chili I also really like celery in my soups so sometimes I…

I LOVE this rosemary chicken recipe. It is best with smaller breasts because cooking it in a pan is difficult to cook it all the way through without burning it. I would let the balsamic & the oil sit on the chicken for a while. Chicken cooks the most evenly when it is room temperature so I usually take it out the fridge…

Just throwing it out there that if you do take the gluten free bread home to keep it in the freezer. It goes bad super quickly and is also very delicate. You'll want to toast it in order to use it for a sandwich without it crumbling into pieces. I am not gluten free, just worked at a deli for a while and we had gluten free…
