Anyone know what alcoholic drinks have the least calories? I'm going on holiday next week and I'm dreading the weight gain! All inclusive nightmare!

Do you really NEED alcohol to enjoy your holiday? I've found that holidays are much more fun when you're not drunk.0

Vodka soda with lime or crown royal on the rocks are good choices. Getdrunknotfat.com is a great resource, soda will more than double the calorie content so either avoid or go with diet.0

You don't gain weight from the alcohol (it can't be stored in the body). The issue with alcohol is that it inhibits any other energy source from being burned until it's metabolized out of the body. So if you eat along with drinking, whatever you're eating will be stored for usage until alcohol is out of your body.

spirits straight or with diet soda, they are basically pure alcohol whose calories can't actually be stored as fat, best way to avoid weight gain is eat lean protein and veggies during the day and stick to spirits/diet soda at night and don't stuff your face after drinking (that's where the real weight gain comes from as alcohol can't be stored as fat)0

So having straight alcohol with no other forms of calories that night won't cause fat gain?0 -
