That is some kick @$$ working out. I'm on essentially the same journey (same weight, same goal weight) but in the midst of an 8-month long journey to get there. Not sure how tall you are though. Regardless, I hope we can both maintain after getting there!

Good for you!

Well done and best wishes for making your final goal!

Cutting out processed sugar. I have a weakness for sweet baked goods. But I'm back to focusing on regaining my triathlete endurance and body with moderate weight training mixed in.

Lift heavy stuff and put it back down repeatedly. And count your calories. It's doable. Good luck!

Great work! How tall are you?
-
Congrats and best wishes on reaching whatever new goals you set for yourself!

Best wishes on continued success, however you might define that. For me, personally, it not so much the number on the scale but things that I am not able to do when I am heavier. I can be "fit" and do those same things regardless if I am +/- 10 pounds from a certain weight. But I no longer focus on the scale weight.

Bravo! Enjoy your journey to a fitter you....you appear to be doing great so far.

Congrats and best wishes for continued success!

Always looking for new folks with similar goals and interests. Feel free to add me!

Bravo! You look terrific and I bet you feel much better as well!

Congratulations! Your hard work and dedication clearly show!

Awesome!

Congrats and keep up the good work! The hardest part of fitness and weight loss for me was getting started. Once the positive habits are formed, it gets a bit harder to fall off the wagon. I also set mini goals for myself to take some of the pressure off the longer terms goals. Again, best wishes for continued success!

No problem whatsoever

Impressive!

Makes no difference. My "dessert" tonight was a plum, a nectarine and some cherries. Timing of meals or specific food items for most people has very little impact on weight loss IMHO.

And why would you think this is not possible or even likely? It's really not that hard to do with sufficient amount of time and effort.

You started and that's all that matters. Keep at it! I did c25k several years ago and have since completed numerous half marathons, one full marathon and a Half Ironman! Keep moving and you'll go as far as you want to eventually! P.S. Having been there, my only thought when I see someone larger out exercising is "Good for…

My wife suffers from this same phenomenon. I do not recall the medical term for it off the top of my head. You may want to consult with a medical professional who is knowledgeable on the topic. Best of luck to you!

Chicken breast at the local grocery stores near me is usually only $1.99 a pound. Plenty of protein and much tastier than the powders. Edited to add - Oops, nevermind as I just saw you don't eat much meat. Plenty of other great suggestions on here though and it sounds as if you're getting plenty of protein on current diet…

I knew there was at least one other reason you're on my friends list!

Egg white omelet with spinach, mushrooms (other veggies to taste) and reduced fat shredded cheese. A side of toast and/or piece of fruit to round it out.
-
Tremendous! Congrats on sticking with it and committing to continue moving forward.

Easier to say what works than list all the things that don't. Eating less (tracking calories here on MFP or otherwise) and moving more (training for a triathlon, a run or weight lifting) works like a charm. Everything else is a fail (especially cookies, cakes and pies).

out of bed to in bed regardless of clock

Awesome results!

Impressive! Congrats!

Congrats on attaining happiness and the weight loss too!
