Ugh. Interested in this. Lol. Is it even worth the expense? I've been researching and keep going back to the thought that it will be something I put in a drawer after about three months of playing with it.

I used to train kung fu but only try to keep up with what I've learned intermittently. Haven't been able to go back, had a baby, have a baby chasing me while kicking and punching is challenging, lol. Was sooo much fun while being the hardest workouts I've ever done at the same time. I tested only once and didn't get very…

This is my third time losing weight after a baby. First, I counted calories, and exercises 4 times a week doing a Denise Austin tv show of interval training, lol. It worked though. I lost all the weight, sadly lost my boobs too. Hubby was disappointed. 2nd, I started training in kung fu. I lost more in size, gained a LOT…

I was thinking the same thing. I'm 43. However, I just ordered a scale because I think I need to be more diligent with weighing my food consistently.

I'm 5'1" 155, trying to lose baby weight AGAIN. Lol. 20 lbs. needs to go. Would like 30 to go. I'm 43 and it is just seeming to be a lot harder this time around.

I was diagnosed with gastritis and it took a lot of trial and error for me. One thing my doctor suggested that was different from the normal gastritis diet was increase my fiber intake by a lot. She wanted me to hit 40 grams a day of food fiber not supplemental fiber and see if it helps. I also cut out all oils except…

My latest find is Greek Gods Greek yogurt and also their kefir. Yum! The yogurt is so creamy, not at all chalky. My favorite flavor is black cherry.

I would add, peanut butter, broccoli(frozen and fresh), eggs and cheese.

I've added chia seeds to my diet. It has protein and 5g of fiber per tablespoon. It makes my yogurt snack or breakfast like oatmeal last longer.

7 am to about 3 pm. Then I'm done. I can playfully do anything from cleaning, shopping, working, exercising. After 3, I'm in wind down time, I dont like starting new things, but cooking dinner.

So, I just found out I am pregnant, too. This will be my fourth. I am at the end of my 6th week so very early on in first trimester. I only walked with my previous pregnancies and each of them I gained 40 to 50 lbs. We had very healthy babies and a typical pregnancy. For the last four years, I have been training in kung fu…

Maybe at least once a week do a calisthenic routine that builds muscle, i.e. 30 push ups, 50 squats, 100 high knees (like running in place but with your knees lifted high up in front of you), 50 sit ups of some kind. Set your number, write them down and just do them. If you can only do 5 push ups at a time, do 5 push ups…

I love grill master brand cajun seasoning. It is wonderfully tasty

Do slow squat to where your thighs are parallel to the floor, come up but not all the way up, then down. Hands go out in front of you. Do 30, hold that horse stance for 10 seconds then repeat. You should feel the burn with that!! Breath out on the down. edit: feet wide. Think Jackie Chan.

LOL life expectancy: 86 Virtual Age!!! 28 Actual age 40. Pretty cool

What don't I crave. I can't say that it is anything in particular all the time. It varies, so it is hard to kick such a variety!! I LOVE food. Good, bad and in between. Last craving that I had to curb was chocolate cake. Hadn't had chocolate in a while and didn't feel like making it. I wanted decadent. Local bakery where…

My brother injured his knees in the military and he tried my elliptical. It didn't take a full minute before he said it was bothering his knees. Now my daughter injured her ACL a year ago and she is find and dandy on it. She loves it more than the treadmill, too. It must depend on the injury. Maybe age, too. Brother is…

I work a lot harder on the elliptical, basically, because I like it better. I don't like the feel of a treadmill. I would rather run outside. Something about stepping off a treadmill makes me feel like I'm walking on a boat for a bit. I love the program on my elliptical that automatically increases and decreases the…

I have no answers. I think I have about 10 lbs to go and I have been at that point for about a year now. I feel healthy and fit, but just want a few more inches off the middle and hips. erg. I went vegan for about a month and I lost a lot, but it came back on quickly. I didn't go crazy with my eating afterwards, either. It…

Try roasting a variety of vegetables, brussel sprouts, broccoli, mushrooms, onions, a little diced potatoe (not a lot because that adds up but adds enough flavor when roasted crispy), sweet potato for sweetness. Roast them on cookie sheets with a little olive oil and garlic salt. Place in a bowl and it is a really low…

I had a conversation with a guy, who is very fit and muscular, and he said he has never been attracted to women of the same build as himself. His wife proves his point, too. She is beautiful and curvy with a tiny waist, not the long slender type. So, I've been wondering since then, if that is more the case. You tend to be…

So, I am 5'1.5" and am at 144 ISH. I have been bouncing around this weight for about 3 years. However, i am a size 8 to 10 in jeans. I do kung fu and elliptical for exercise around 4 times a week, more if I am good. I have large quads and muscular booty due to the martial arts. Lots of low squat like workouts, horse stance…

It's a good story about perseverance and strife, the underdog, etc.

me, that's me. I've been working at it since I was 32 with a couple kids in between, but I am still working at it HARD. I have less than six months before I hit 40.

Ran for 30 min. and walked for 10 this a.m. with my teenage daughter. So nice. Now I'm about to pick up my 7 yr old son and go to my kung fu class, while he plays with my Sifu's kids. Also, so nice. Never know what the plan is when i get to kung fu because this year he is making it RANDOM. I used to plan my days to go to…

I'm in Florida, too. Welcome and I agree. Even all the beach combers aren't all beauty queens, although, they may be in bikinis LOL. My 17 year old daughter said her goal is to be that really tanned, leathery, wrinkled old lady walking on the beach for exercise. You know you've seen them and I have to admit, I wouldn't…

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking, exactly. So I will guess you mean in motivation. It is much more motivating to watch the measuring tape show loss. For me, it will show even when the scale doesn't move noticeably. However, my scale is weird. It's not digital and it will tell me different weights every time I…
