  • I’m so glad for this discussion. I’m a low carb, gluten free, vegetarian and adding another goal of 30g of fiber has been impossible. Now I’ll take that out of my goals! Maybe quit eating chia seeds, too.

  • I’m a vegetarian and I set my protein grams at 100 and my carbs at 90. I understand how difficult it can be. I drink protein shakes or smoothies made with almond milk (30 calories per cup and I use 1.5 cups). I have some brands and flavors that I love so it makes it easier.   • Protein bars (I love Quest). Protein powder with almond milk, stirred into sugar-free pudding, mixed with creamer in coffee. Shaved deli meats wrapped in cheese. Add cheese whenever you can to meats and veggies. Greek yogurt, peanut or almond butter, and nuts.

  • I set my calories to 1200, set up six (mini) meals a day, and in settings changed the goals(?) to 135g protein, 47g fat and 60g carb. In addition to calories, I track protein, fat, fiber, carbs and sugar.
  • Hi. I'm also doing low carb (but not Atkins) and would love to provide and receive support, share info, recipes, etc. I've never posted anything before though, so how do I connect with you and others who have replied? I just made my diary viewable (by friends?)
