I have found that if I were to go out to a bar and have one drink, I'm fine. It I have anymore than that it hinders my progress, so I think like anything else, its calories in, calories out.

Keto here! I'll add you and my diary is public, so look all you want!

I love the Keto diet! But it's just not sustainable long term. Plus every time I've gotten off of it, the weight came back. It's great for a quick weight loss, but for a long term healthy choice, I wouldn't do it.

I don't think it really matters as long as you're staying within your calories. I work night shift and I don't usually get my lunch until about 1 am. It hasn't affected my weight loss. I just make sure that I stay on top of tracking.
-
@toxikon I generally try not to eat back my exercise calories, but when I do, it's usually only about 30% or less. I've found in the past that when I eat them back, it stalls my weight loss, I also don't know how accurate my exercise calories are, so I don't want to screw myself over by eating them back if they're over…

No, I have intensified what I have already been doing and added in some intermediate hiking on my days off. I generally go on 1 hike a week.

@TeacupsAndToning about 3 weeks.

I was at about 1900 when I was losing weight, then MFP lowered it to 1865 ish when I lost 12 pounds. Then I lowered it to about 1650 when I wasn't losing weight. Because I was experimenting to see if it would help.

Oh yes I do! I have a food scale I use religiously. I even weigh weird things like a slice of pizza. So I know exactly how much I am eating.

I gained so much weight when I began grave yard and I had to lose it, so I started following a schedule for the days when I work and it seems to work well for me. I work from 10:30 pm to 8:30 am. I usually don't eat while I am working. My days usually go like so, I pack something to eat for breakfast and I eat around 7 am.…

I have actually seen other do this, it seems common.

What??? Who's Suicidal..? Have you tried replacing it with carbinated water? You could add some flavoring.. It's pretty good.

I LOVE this stuff!! For me it was meal replacement that was supposed to taste like banana, bleh!

I think it might be wise to see someone who specializes in "Metabolic Damage". There are trainers out there who understand and can help with this. Most people don't understand that this is a real issue and that your metabolism can't always just bounce back. I don't think tea alone is going to help, it will take a long…

Oreo's! Man, give me a package of Oreo's and a glass of milk, I am out for the counting.

So, update on my weight loss journey. I started incorporating more weight training into my workouts. Then I went to the website IIFYM and found out my calories and Macro's for my activity level. My weight started coming off again.
-
IIYFM is my favorite! I use it to tell me my calories and my macro's for how much exercise I do. Macro's are just a fancy thing they call your Fat, Protein, Carbs etc. You want to make sure you are getting enough for your body to fuel your body. So, I work out 6 days a week doing weight training and cardio. IIFYM has me…

I log EVERYTHING! Even if am out of calories for a day and I splurge. I am brutally honest at all costs! If I lie on my diary I start slipping on other habits too and I refuse to let that happen!
-
Amazing! Good job! Why not try and go at it on your own before trying surgery. Just think of the health benefits you could gain without any risks!
-
I actually had no idea that you were supposed to eat your exercise calories back.. I've been eating strictly 1720 calories and then exercising off say 300 and not eating anymore back. Good to know! That might be why I am stalling! Thanks guys!!

Honestly, I eat whatever I feel like as long as it's not a crazy amount of calories or fat. I don't eat fast food and I don't drink soda. Those are the only rules I follow. I find that if I limit myself and only eat things like salad (Don't get me wrong, I love a good salad) every meal, I will fail and end up eating an…

I started losing my face fat first.. But I noticed more of a jaw bone and I have dimples when I smile. I had never known that.

I have this shirt that is a size M, that is very tight on me. Every time I lose ten pounds or so I put it on to see how it fits a little bit better. I am just waiting for the day that it fits. I know it's weird, but it's my motivation to keep going.

@grneyez I wish I worked at a electronics store! That would be awesome!
