I am with you on the dry skin problem. My skin is incredibly dry year round. Since just incorporating it into my foods(to cook with, making my fudge, etc.) and eating it normally, my skin is looking amazing and my face is not dry at all. I have tried lotions in the past and nothing worked. So just for that I am happy.

Our stats are very similar. I am 163 pounds and 5'5". Congrats! Your progress is very noticeable.

I did W1D2 yesterday. Day one was rough, my legs killed for two days, but day two I found to be much easier and my legs don't ache/jiggly feeling at all today! I am ready to keep going. I love the app I am using and have a playlist I listen to while doing it to keep me going.

I too believe in the benefits of CO. I buy unrefined extra virgin CO and use it to cook, and I particularly love it in this recipe. http://www.practicalpaleo.blogspot.com/2011/06/primal-fudge.html Wanted to add, I am not Paleo, but I just love this freaking fudge!! I use raw honey to sweeten it, natural peanut butter…

I am currently aiming for 1lb weight loss a week, if I don't hit that I am not at all worried but that's just a target I like to aim for. Anyway, that being said I only came here to say I sort of understand where you are coming from. I was on weight watchers for 11 months and in that 11 months I lost 98 pounds. So I was…

My second child weaned herself at age 3. At that point it was pretty much all comfort nursing because I was pregnant with her brother and she was dry nursing. Once he was born and my milk started coming back in she weaned herself. I am now still nursing my third child, he's 9 months old. I hope someone else who actually…

Anyone? It's such a big difference from the IIFYM one, if I am following that one it seems the deficit is much different.
-
What site are you talking about?(Scooby site). I use fat2fitradio to figure out my bmr and IIFYM for my TDEE. Is there another site for figuring TDEE?
-
Every Friday. I won't say I don't occasionally get curious and hop on the scale in the morning, but I don't take the results to seriously except on Fridays. Those are the ones I log.

neat site.

Age- 27 Height- 5'5" Starting Weight- 250lbs Current Weight- 175lbs Time it took to lose weight- 11 months to lose 98 pounds, got pregnant with my third child, then 6 months to lose 35 pounds since having him. Daily calories consumed- between 1800 and 1950 or so. Basically my TDEE less 20%. Did your milk supply ever drop-…

I agree, weight watchers is great for nursing moms because it takes the guess work out of figuring out what you should eat to not affect your supply. I did WW with my second child that I breastfed until she was three. I love that MFP is free but I do struggle to find that "right" number.
-
If your little one is eating solids then yes, you probably aren't burning as many calories as a little one who is just nursing. My little guy is 9 months old but still only nurses, no solids or other foods of any kind. So I still take that into account as if I was nursing a newborn.
-
Hi, I too am breastfeeding. My little one is 9 months old and eating my TDEE less 20%. So around 1900 cals. I am losing at a nice rate and feel like that's a good number but I do worry about not eating enough, eating to much, etc. It can be tricky. :)

I too keep teetering in the 170's. I am ouncing my way out. lol 172 currently, can't wait to see 169.

I did WW from home for nearly a year and lost 98 pounds. Got pregnant with my third child, and when I went to lose the baby weight with points plus I found it much more difficult to do so. I still lost but not like the first time. Decided to stop paying for what I could do for free and joined MFP and have now lost about 20…
-
Nope, people really believe it(not saying the above poster does, but I thought I would point it out just in case). But if you do a MFP search or a google search you will see people actually asking if it's true. I don't know why, but people believe it.

Muscle does not weigh more than fat. That is a myth and not possible. Muscle is denser so it takes less of it to reach a certain weight. For example five pounds of fat is much larger than five pounds of muscle because of their density. But they both weigh the same amount.
-
Good question. I just left mine as it was set but have no idea what the "right" number is.
-
I initially had 100 pounds to lose to get to 150 pounds which was my first goal. I now want to lose 42 more pounds but that's to get to my final goal of 130ish pounds. I was thinking shooting for 1-1.5 was safe and not to fast. :)

Kroger sells them too.
-
Have two or three cups of blueberries. Three cups is only 180 calories anyway and it's a yummy option to get things moving. ;)
-
Me! From Northern Kentucky here. I have three children and finally getting myself in shape. :)
-
I still haven't been able to find these to try them out.. :( Our Kroger doesn't have them.

Hershey's chocolate candy bars!!! I could eat four or five. Yum!
