Props to the YMCA in my home town- Palestine, Tx- nice workout facilities, climbing wall, gym, pool, racquetball- been a member for 20 years now at 45$ a month for the whole family- all in a town of 20k- http://palestineymca.org/YMCA_of_Palestine/Home.html

I dont think its a problem. I think you are just cooling yourself. Unless of course your having some type of mild reaction to the chlorine in the pool. but if your just flush after a workout your ok I would think.
-
thanks. sounds delicious. and damned healthy.

frequently throughout the week. but only log a weight loss if I've maintained it over a couple different weigh ins. that way not logging in water loss. also don't get worked up over a few pounds weight gain over a day or so. just water and salt.

love the smell and flavor of curry. you got an easy healthy chicken curry recipe? emphasis on easy. I am all thumbs in the kitchen. thank you sir.

buy the one with the options you'll use. last time I bought one had a lot of **** on it, but I never used them.

Just recently started using training fins. Got a pair of aqua sphere zips at local academy on clearance because it's all they had. That are more like scuba fins in design. They have a strap and they use a firmer plastic for the blade. The strap is a pain in the *kitten* to use and falls off occasionally. I had really bad…

not enough cycling movies out there. Premium Rush also a good one.
-
Palestine, Tx. Pretty much the *kitten* of nowhere.
-
ted nugent- stranglehold. really rocks. just look past his politics.
-
They have an open water training program that sounds intriguing. But hate to spend the loot without knowing if theyre reliable. Plus it's a couple hour drive for me. Thanks for fr btw.

The scene with the bigass dog is worth a laugh.
-
Carbs before, proteins after always made the most sense to me.

Oh yeah. Due a lot of research first. Craigslist has benefit over a bike shop because you can occasionally get really good deals because the seller is not as informed as you are.
-
good movie. sort of made you want to NOT go to college. also liked American Flyer.
-
good advice. it's the brakes and components that really make the bike. all the frames are pretty much the same. for instance if you have two aluminum framed bikes that fit you- one with 105 components one with ultegra, then the ultegra is a better bike. do your research and have all that written down before hand and go…
-
craigslist. tons of options for you. especially in the houston area. no need to spend a grand or two on a brand new bike when there are a bunch of nice used ones out there.
-
gravity- just so good to look at on the big screen-
-
great idea. my first real road bike was a steel framed specialized- loved that bike- got out of cycling and sold it- now aluminum frame- not the same- wish i'd never sold that thing-
-
no question. a hybrid is the way to go. also suggest getting the most bike you can afford. best components etc. you want something reliable. if you spend all your time working on your bike your not going to want to ride it.

Thanks

Set a reasonable daily calorie goal. Keep to that goal and then add in moderate exercise (at first). You will lose weight without seeming starved or over worked.
-
It always works. ALWAYS.

i say that if your not hungry in the morning when you wake up then don't eat breakfast. dont eat breakfast because thats the conventional wisdom. just make sure to eat when you get hungry.
-
Seriously. All those a holes suck.
-
Don't eat when you drink. Will lower your tolerance. Less alcohol required. Just drink in moderation to avoid the hangover. Or smoke a little weed and avoid the hangover all together.
