I like to eat dinner leftovers for breakfast b/c they are more filling to me for some reason than traditional breakfast foods... Today, I had 1 cup of mashed sweet potato and 1 cup of brown rice before a bike ride, but it could be anything... chicken and veggies, soup, salad, whatever. Maybe it's a mind game, but it works…

I think the difference is awesome, and you look great now, but if you'll still feeling "fluffy", concentrate more on lifting and getting stronger... you may not need to lose weight, but just reconstitute :-) Great job!

Ha! I'm pale too and so was my ex-husband. I always joked that if we had kids, they'd have see-through bellies, like tad-poles!

mmmmm... Vodka... but I DO love my liver :-) Kidding: I love my shoulders (broad) and my abs (when you can see them... right now, you can't). Thighs... not so much.

I confess that I really want another beer...

hang out

Whew... just when I was about to go off the edge over the two beers I had at dinner!

NICE!!!

And, there are LOTS of low impact exercises that can keep your body weight down. I am not one to talk about self-control when it comes to eating, but one of the orthopedic docs I work with tells his patients to practice "push aways" for exercise... in other words, push away from the table, especially if you KNOW you're not…

There are a lot of non-athletes that find themselves in the same situation. It's called life, aging and genes. Sure, trauma can accelerate things, but I wouldn't change anything unless you have symptoms / radiological findings. That's just my opinion, but obviously there are lots of people running who DON'T have those…

Thanks, everyone for making me smile and for distracting me from the depressing dating websites on a Saturday afternoon!

I bet he's not perfectly symmetrical either!

Yes, strengthening your pecs can make your chest appear perkier, but be sure to work your upper back too -- low rows, mid rows, reverse flies, etc. Working your chest without working the opposing muscle groups can lead to poor posture and pain. Plus, working the upper back gives you better posture which also helps the…

Chocolate candy, cookies, cake, brownies, potato chips, ice cream, pie...

Well, I've never had kids, but I have noticed that with gaining weight Ive gotten a little bigger (like going from an A to a B, maybe), but I'm fine losing the boobies if it means getting my old body back! I do not like the one I'm in now ;-) I always thought big boobs would get in the way during sports, etc... and having…

And don't forget syntax.

I don't remember ever having that problem, even in high school when I was 125 lbs. But I was a soccer player w strong glutes then, so maybe the muscle mass helped :-) Of course, I also tend to recline in the tub. Are you literally sitting?

OF COURSE you need half a cup of sugar in a piece of cake to make it taste so good... that's what makes it irresistible! And I think the goal is more to make people addicted (to sugar) so they keep coming back... dead patrons don't make for much of a profit ;-) Kidding, of course, but I don't think any of this is new info,…

Well, see... that's the problem, isn't it :-) You're not the only one... my motivation goes up and down constantly. Have friends on here that comment regularly when I post helps. And, I just took my first set of "before" pics in a swimsuit. Scary, but motivating nonetheless. Good luck to you! Jen

Good for you... it works if you know what you want going into it and you grow together. I married young, had no idea what I wanted in life (and neither did he) and it didn't work. But I learned a lot about myself a long the way and I'm pretty certain of what I want now and I won't settle for a relationship that can't help…

This is my "goal suit". I rocked it when I graduated from grad school 7 years ago. Now... not so much. Taken today.

I agree w/ the comment re: getting evidence on video / audio. Just documenting "your perceptions" is not enough. If you want to keep the job and try not to confront her, that's fine... find a way to rise above it... have you tried turning it around in a joking way: maybe when she says that (esp to a customer), smile, shrug…

I bet that the bread starts at a foot long and shrinks in the oven.

Catheads?

Hmmm... those sound good to me too... For me, maybe the one that people would think was weird would be jalapenos stuffed with peanut butter, wrapped in bacon, and grilled... Not healthy, but very yummy!

Awesome! Love a good laugh in the AM. But I do hope it's fake just the same :-) Me... I'd have issues w those purple earrings!

What???

I saw an awesome bumper sticker the other day... it said "Don't be bothered by what other people think, they don't do it very often". Obviously, people who responded were thinking about something, but their thoughts may have been pre-biased rather than open minded. So don't let it bug you too much... I'd just say it's a…
