  • I set a goal to exercise twice this week. No other constraints than, set aside time to move my body with the intention of exercise. Had my 3rd workout this morning! I'm trying really hard to ease back into my routine without overdoing it and getting frustrated.
  • Hey there! Feel free to add me! And don’t worry those muscles will look awesome, not bulky
  • Thanks for sharing! I haven't done Insanity in over a week- last workout I hadn't eaten enough and "bonked" during the warmup- but I love that I hate Shaun T and spend the whole DVD cursing at him! A real stress reliever. I am having a tough time recovering strength after a difficult and sedentary pregnancy, and it's…
  • 1 pound sounds like a perfectly reasonable loss! And..it's a loss!! I like to think on weeks like that when you were expecting more, that all the exercise created a bunch of lean, mean calorie-burning muscle, and you got another pound off to boot! Keep it up and I bet you'll see more of what you want next week :)
  • LOL I get that CG thing a lot, and trust me it is embarrassing to prove people right about how slack our weight and PT standards are! That alone makes me want to lose it...I hate looking terrible in my uniform, and I hate representing my service that way. Thanks for the joke, it's actually motivating, LOL!
  • No, you are not alone!! I get this from my family all the time who think I look better "plump", when I actually feel unhealthy. For the people who offend you, just say thanks for your concern, and change the subject. There's no need to go into detail with them about what your plans for your body are! You can always say,…
  • NICE JOB!!! Keep up the hard work!
  • My mom has seperated abs...but she's had 5 kids! So now when she does sit-ups, you can see the muscles on either side contracting, but its kind of like a little balloon area in the middle, or a ridge with no muscle. From a daughter's perspective, I think its amazing she looks so great after raising 5 kids, and who cares?…
  • US Coast Guard Storekeeper and Army wife here....Seattle-Tacoma area. Good to know you guys are here!
  • Don't worry, you won't bulk up. I have a very large and broad frame for a female, and while I do get really big "guns" from all the pushups, I can only be thankful that a) my husband loves his "muscley-armed sailor girl", and b) those muscles are keeping my bones strong well into the future. Good luck with the P90X, I go…
  • Rome wasn't built in a day, and the important thing is you jumped right back on track! If you know you will be too drained to focus on this later in the week, take 20 minutes to set yourself up for success...stash some nutrition bars in your glove box so you don't hit a drive through, pre-chop some veggies in little…
