• I love mine and I paid $100 for it. It tells mph, distance, calories burned etc. and also gives me a reading at the end of my ride. It will tell me my avg speed, distance on bike (it pauses when I make a stop on my long rides), how long I was in my HR zone. It also will let me know if my HR gets too low or too high while…
• Welcome aboard!! This is a great site for motivation and help with your journey. I will add you as a friend.
• My day usually looks like this: Breakfast- 3 slices of center cut bacon, 2 poached eggs & 1/2 cup green grapes Snack- Greek yogurt with caramel Lunch- 2 cups spring mix salad, 1 cup spinach, 4-5 cherry tomatoes, 1/2 cucumber, 2-3 oz chicken & Sun dried tomato vinaigrette Snack- Special K bar Dinner- Baked chicken, fish or…
• Just be mindful that most are high in sodium which will cause you retain water. I think in a pinch they are better than fast food but maybe when you cook you try fixing enough to last a couple days.
• You can do it!! We have some 50 & 60 year old cyclist in our club. Just take it slow and build up. Cycling is a great exercise because you get the benifits of both cardio and muscle training especially in the lower half. My legs have never been this tone before and I long for day when I have those "Cyclist Legs"!!
• It means that you are becoming more fit than you were when you started. My calories burns have gone down too because it doesn't take as much energy to do the exercises as it did when I first started. The more you workout and the more in shape you get it's gonna be harder to get those high numbers. But on the bright side it…
• So I gues I should stop doing my 4 hour/60mile bike rides? I think not!!! I agree it's all in how you feed your body pre & post workout. A 30 min workout is not nearly enough for me to get the calorie burn my body needs nor increase my endurance.
• I had to stop eating them too for the same reason. I now eat the Special K bars and love the chcoclate pretzels too!!
• .
i dont think i could survive if i had to turn over my beaver...i mean...dont i need that to live?? lmaooo
Ok I about spit water everywhere on this one. LMFAO!!!! Nope gotta keep the beaver!!
• I actually heard the same thing on the radio today. Said they did a study and found that eating 3 meals a day was better than eating 5-6 small meals especially if you want to lose weight. I think I'll stick to my 5 times a day as it has worked so far.
• 5' 1" here and I hardly ever get to 1200 calories either. i still eat 5 times a day but I try to keep it healty. When I would eat the 1200 I wouldn't lose and would always feel stuffed so I just listen to my body. If I do eat 1200 calories that's a cheat day for me!! My workouts are intensive and I still have plenty of…

• I have a digital and a dial scale. The digital says I weigh 5 pounds more than the dial but I started with the dial so thats the weight I use. I have noticed when I lose weight I drop the same amount on each scale.
• Stop taking laxatives and allow your body to regulate itself. Yes laxatives gives you horrible bloat and gas and taking more will only make it worse sweetie. Just let your body do it's thing naturally. Most of the time if you eat a well balanced diet with plenty of fiber and drink plenty of water your body will eliminate…

• Hi and welcome aboard!! Great job on getting started to a healthier you. I learned that in order to take care of my family I must learn to take care of myself. • Hey and congrats on your weight loss so far. It seems you are doing really well. I would suggest that yes you aim for that 152 pound mark but also realize even that number is not set in stone. As you began to lose you may change that number several times. Once you get to the 170's see how you feel there and most…
