Thanks for the input, and you're right, it doesn't really matter I guess. Was just curious to see if others had a similar experience. I'll just keep chugging along and building up from where I am :) Thank you again.

And always remember that there will be set backs, but use that as more motivation to get to your goal. Like I have always said ANY loss is a HUGE loss, even if it's .1 lbs, it's an achievement that you should be proud of because they all add up

Lisa, I am always here for you, and always will be. After the holidays, maybe we can meet on a weekend and walk around Chain of Lakes park up here, or somewhere down by you. It would kill two birds with one stone, we see each other, and exercise. You can do this, you are an amazing person, and I know how badly you want…

I would be lost without my iPhone at the gym! I currently have: - iBikeer - MFP - Couch to 5k - Nike+ ipod - Nike Running - Runtastic Pro - Gain fitness (this is my FAVORITE) It's like a personal trainer is there with me.....I have just finished my first 5 wk plan and I can tell/feel a difference.

Thank you for all the info. It is really helpful. And you're right about "it depends on the guy"....and btw love the sense of humor in the beginning :) LMAO!

Thanks for your input, it is appreciated. You mention about splitting the workout's up into "groups", and I've read that, and I've read that some break it down to "push" days and "pull" days....basically you do all the exercises that require you to push on one day, then do all the exercises that require you to pull on…

Congrats! I just did my first 5k fun run this past weekend here in Orlando.

Hi, I'm over on the East Coast, in TItusville....

It's never too late! I am 37, and at the beginning of the year I started using the Couch to 5k app on my phone. I'm happy to say that this past weekend, I ran my first 5k fun run. I enjoy running now, so I say go for it

I'm Wayne, I live in Titusville, Florida (central east coast of FL, right next to Kennedy Space Center). I am a recording clerk for the County, and I'm 37. My job is a desk job, so that is why its so important for me to stay active...

WOW, excellent work. You are a true inspiration to everyone. Keep up the great work.

I see this is obviously a commonality between many of us. I think it's because we look at ourselves every day in the mirror, so we don't see all the gradual changes, but as has been mentioned in comments before me, if you take a pic of yourself now and compare it side by side with a pic of you before you started this…

I am very happy that yet another state is realizing that all people deserve equality. I hope that Florida follow soon, but I will not hold my breath......

WOW! That is scary. So glad I rarely eat there..

Hi Kim, I'm Wayne, feel free to add me as well.

Like I mentioned, I feel kind of dumb asking, and your response was kind of eye opening. Never really thought of it like that. I know the importance for me is on loosing weight, but i want to tone up as well. I don't want to be all ripped, but some definition would be nice...LOL

I have just started week 6 as well. Day one was good, especially after Day 3 of Wk 5. And somehow, I messed up and did Week 8 day 1.....I did that without realizing it one day, and it has made the rest a lot easier....

I have been walking a lot this weekend Lisa. It does help out, your mind is clear and fresh. We still have Jobs until at least May, and now we know ;-). You can do this.

I think the snack sized bags are the best idea! I go thru them like there is no tomorrow!

I just found out about this app, and promptly downloaded it. I started yesterday, and I must say I really liked it. I look forward to the end where I will be able to jog the entire time.
-
Thank you, I added you!!!!

Hi Lisa, I'm Wayne :P But you know that. I promise to help you when we're at work. I will be good, because I have to drop my weight down again too. We can do this.

I'm new here to this site, and I saw this and thought it was great. So between my walking, jogging, and biking, I'm in for 75 miles...being my first time doing this.
