A close friend that has lost 100 lbs. recommends Bio-oil. She swears by it!

I get little dots here and there on my legs. I have consulted my dr (and my MIL, who is also a dr) and have had normal blood work come back. My MIL says that what I get is more of a faux petechiae. Once again, I only have this happen when I am really exercising. I was just wondering if there are others out there that have…

I will definitely have to try this out. Thanks!

I am 5' 3.5", and started at 206. I am currently 179, and am shooting for 135. I have a large frame, and am pretty muscular, so anything smaller than 130 people ask me if I'm sick. Lol. I LIKE being curvy, and am worried about losing them.

Congrats! You look amazing!

I am in the same boat! I have been on antidepressants for 18 years, when I started having panic attacks. About a year and a half ago, I decided I was over it. I stoppped taking my meds and easily lost 56 lbs. About 6 months ago I started taking them again when my daughter became ill, and I found myself not coping very…

I started at 179, today I am at 177.4. I am happy w/ this after Thanksgiving.

That is awesome! I am always looking for supportive friends, so feel free to add me. Good luck!

Well, I scheduled an appt w/ my doctor for Tuesday, but in the meantime we agreed to 1/2 my dosage. It has been 6 days and I've lost 2 lbs already.
-
Thanks for this! It looks awesome. Yum :)

My starting weight is 179. My ultimate goal is 135, but 10 lbs a month would be great. I just started Curves today, and am shooting for 4-5 times a week. I also walk my dog every afternoon.

Hello everyone! I am a 37 yo married, mother of a 14 yo daughter. She has Asperger's Syndrome and Mitochondrial disease, so needless to say, there is a lot of stress in my life. Let's see....I always thought I was fat, but looking back on pictures of me before I was pregnant I definitely was not. Last year I decided I had…

I lost 56 lbs last year. 5 months ago I needed to go back on a medication, and have gained back 23 lbs :(. I am back on track, but I now have 42 lbs. to go until I hit my ultimate goal.

NOT a doctor, but I had a similiar situation. My doctor told me to eat low carb. After about 5 months my numbers were awesome.

Good morning to all! I am loving the rain in SoCal this morning. I am finally starting to feel better after my candy binge on Halloween. Ugh. I will not forget that awful feeling anytime soon. Sugar is definitely not my friend. I hope everyone is having a great morning.

Starting #: 11/1/11 5'3" SW 172.2 Bust 36.5” Waist 33.5” Hips 40.5” After gorging on Halloween candy last night, I am way bloated and feeling generally icky this morning :(. I need to remember this feeling...sugar is NOT my friend. I'm going to continue to shoot for better sleep this month.

Agreed. I feel as though I have a better idea of *what* to eat, now I need to work on the amount :P. Overall, I feel better, but I was not really focussed on losing weight. Not only did I not lose weight, but I may have gained a few lbs. oh well...I'm trying to look at this as a lifetime journey.

Me too!

I'd love to be involved in a November Challenge! I feel like I'm just starting to understand how my body reacts to food choices, and would love to begin really losing weight.

Great post about cravings. http://everydaypaleo.com/2011/10/28/cravings/

Whoo-hoo!

I just finished reading the 21 Day Total Body Transformation, and plan on starting to journal starting tomorrow. I like having a plan. Okay, I should be asleep.

Yes ma'am! I'm not celiac or gluten intolerant- I have a severe grass allergy. My brilliant doctor decided to test me for wheat/grain allergy and it hit me just as hard as the other grasses. As it turned out when I quit eating them I was WAY less congested, wheezed less and eventually (after a few months) quit snoring!…

"I want to go where all your lovely support and experience goes...so keep me posted!" Agreed! How about a group on Facebook?

Wow, what a huge difference! I have decided that I am going to drop my carbs lower because I am still having cravings. However, I slept 7 hours last night! Yay! Have a great day, my Primal/Paleo peepes

Wow! How exciting that there are sooooo many of us committing to eating, living, and feeling better. I slept wonderfully last night. Still only 6.5 hours, but they were 6.5 of the most restful hours in quite a long while. And yes I still have quite a bit of weight to lose, but I am sure that getting more restful sleep will…

I feel better when I am low carb, and I avoid gluten. When I do eat more carbs and/or gluten I feel sluggish, tired, bloated/gassy, and am much more likely to have headaches, as well. Also, although oats are technically gluten-free, most of them are processed in the plants that process wheat products. I know that Trader…

Morning all! I am definitely feeling better 14 days into this "challenge". The quality of my sleep is sooooo much better. Yay! However, even though I immediately lost 2 lbs., I haven't lost anymore. Could my body be re-setting itself?
