Back after a long hiatus, looking for some motivation. Just want to feel healthy and energetic again! Also, anyone have tips on ditching diet soda?

Whole fruits would be great, like apples and bananas. Carrots and hummus. Maybe invest in a machine to air pop popcorn. Depending on your dorm rules you mat even be able to cook some healthy meals in a crock pot.

I love eating noosa yogurt. I tend to eat pretty low fat for all my other meals so I can afford the fat for a snack. Keeps my sweet tooth satisfied. PLUS it comes in pumpkin flavor for fall!

You probably don't want to refrigerate this as olive oil turns to a solid in the fridge. I learned this the hard way...

If your shift is more than four hours long, you have the right to take a fifteen minute break. This should be enough time to eat something substantial. No one is going to tell you to do it, so stand up for yourself! At my work, I always keep a box of meal bars in my lockers to keep me away from the vending machine during…

http://www.diabeticlivingonline.com/diabetic-recipes/ Encourage her to incorporate more veggies into her life. This is not to say that she has to go out and buy all the different veggies she can find. Try adding one at a time and getting used to the taste if she doesn't like them. Also, no "white" foods- white bread, white…

Carrots with hummus or salsa. I also love to eat raw snow peas as they are pretty sweet on their own.

I'm not sure if you have been told this already, but you should not use a straw, it will dislodge the blood clots in your mouth and give you dry socket

You could make 15 minute chili, I think it would turn out fine in the microwave even though the original recipe is for the stove! http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/rcp/RecipePage.aspx?recipeid=173891

I dip carrots in hummus, chunky salsa works best :)

In my dorm we were allowed to have crock pots and rice cookers, I would check your rules to see if you can have them. I used to make a lot of soups this way!

Champion sports bras work really well for me, the under wire and Velcro adjustable straps make sure my boobs don't move at all! They are a little pricey, but worth it!…

This totally happens to me with demi bras as well, glad I'm not the only one! The body by Victoria line is the best!

I have definitely done this, my sleep self prefers string cheese and apples (at least these foods have left evidence behind). When this does happen, I tend to be really stressed, lol

When a person is kept in too clean of an environment, their immune system is not being kept busy fighting off foreign pathogens. Studies have show in this instance the body will then turn on itself and start attacking itself. This playings a role in the increase in autoimmune disorders and allergies. Let your children go…

When I'm going to clinical for nursing school, I like to make an egg mug for breakfast. They are very filling and fast because you make them in the microwave. Once you get the technique down, you can add whatever ingredients you want! http://www.hungry-girl.com/newsletters/raw/1499 My favorite out of all of them is Egg Mug…

Raw snow peas (I used to only eat them steamed), pumpkin, and mangoes!
