Thank you, and best believe it's hard every day but I am slowly learning to be honest with myself especially when it comes to logging. ☺

Hi Naomi, I've just sent you a friend request. I am also in the midst of wanting to lose weight (around 15kg). I am also looking for friends, so people feel free to add me I don't bite  !
-
Thanks for that Carrie, now it's all up to me to start introducing it slowly into my life. Many thanks guys, you have all been extremely helpful and very kind. :)

Yes, I also have a bad habit of not making prepared-packed lunch with me, which I am hoping to start to incorporate into my daily schedule. Also, the sandwich idea, is great though I am not the biggest fan of snacking, and the vegetable ideas, are great I'm a big vegetable eater, so I will definitely do that.

Thanks Sharon, and I'm starting to see more sense now, before I just thought you just had to eliminate it and go cold turkey.
-
That you are very right about and I'm just starting to understand and learn, I really need to stick to it and read more about nutrition.
-
Thanks Capt, I was never a sweet tooth, I am more of a savoury person if I'm honest so I can resist more sweet items than savoury ones.
-
Thanks Tigger, I am now seeing this more clearer, and I went to the gym this morning need to log it, and it's a new day, so here I come :)

Thanks Snuggle, really great advice and at times I do feel like I make myself feel guilty especially mentally I regret it which is obviously not healthy. Life is hard!!
-
Hi potentially crazy, thanks for the amazing advice and your right because I do sometimes end up binging and I have to have a balance which means not cutting it all out but reducing it. Thanks again and fingers cross I hope it works.
-
Thanks Snuggle, I now understand, I guess I thought I could have some control but your right I need to understand that temptations are all around is it is how we handle them. Also from now on I will try and be less harsh on myself and learn.
-
Thanks I know, after reading everyone's reply and reading back the post I started, I can see that I was quite harsh on myself, I guess it comes from feeling a bit down that I have yet to drop what I intended to lose if that makes sense. :(
-
Hi Alisha, feel free to add me, I am always in need of extra motivation :)
-
Hi Jen, yes I agree with you and I am just considering it as I don't want to burn out and end up quitting or allowing my excuses to take over. Also in terms of weight loss I have about 5 weeks to lose it I believe it is possible, as well it is important to be healthy but I am in such a position where I am tired of letting…

Interesting, yes and I agree with resting some of the days, perhaps running say Mon/Tue rest Wed, run Thus/Fri, rest Sat&Sun. This leaves me with 4 day running and 3 day of rest. Also in terms of weight loss I think its pretty normal say to lose up to 1.5 a week x 4 = 6kg

Hi everyone, since I said I will be honest I will be honest with my schedule and list my consumption. Also know that everyone can be a bit naive and sometime over estimate their will power. So Yesterday's log 07/06/2014 started off great: Treadmill: 20min Rowing:1000m, 5min Elliptic machine 10min Consumption: Breakfast:…

To be honest I have been feeling a bit down lately as my motivation flew out the window for the past month, and was sort of stuck not knowing what to do. Reading all your tips and anecdotes have really inspired me into seeing that this is something more than motivation and I will never give up fighting.
