  • I'm.focusing on small weight loss, but mostly losing body fat! Feel free to add me!
  • There is les mills body pump under cardio exercise. Be careful though because calories burnt will all depend on how much weight you do! You should be breathing heavy after the big tracks!! X
  • Thanks everyone for the tips!! I'm definitely going to stay active, I just might not be up to body attack and body pump all the time!! I've decided to use it as a time to focus on my yoga strength and flexibility! That trial is really interesting though. Will definitely keep that in mind as I go!!
  • 28 and from UK... Trying to lower body fat rather than massively loose weight. Am a qualified body attack and pump instructor so can offer some exercise advice if wanted. Any UK peeps feel free to add me.
  • I'm 5'2 and currently weigh around 135-7lbs depending on the tom! I wear a UK size 8/10 though so not big, just carrying a pretty decent amount of muscle from teaching body attack and body pump!! My aim is to get back under 130lbs.... Although I'm not that fussed about the scales, really it's a body fat issue for me, I…

  • I've got the ft4..... its good... however, my version at least, you can't download any of the data.
  • Why not do a load of roasted veggies and then either eat them hot/cold if you don't like salad? Chop up some vegetables that you like, e.g. carrots, beetroot, red onion, peppers, butternut squash, courgette, aubergine, cherry tomatoes, fennel, etc etc Place on a tray with a little oil (I really like coconut oil at the…
  • I currently only do high rep weights (e.g. body pump) but I am looking to start strength training properly. Would appreciate support too!
  • Thanks guys, lots of good tips!!! I think my main solution is to get more sleep, but it's not always possible!! I agree that since upping my protein I definitely seem to snack less, so will keep up with that :-)
  • Vanity - if I can't see my abs before I'm 30 iM scared I never will!! I want to be able to wear a crop top!!
  • Count yourself lucky!!! My boobs are slowly becoming non existent (32 d down to a small 30b) and aren't there perkiest after losing only 30lbs!!! :-(
  • I'm 5'2, but going for a much higher goal of 125! I do think that 100's is perhaps a bit low for someone our height? (Unless you don't carry much muscle at all?) I'm a fitness instructor so have a huge amount of muscle! I'm mostly looking to lose a bit of excess flab (maybe an inch from waist), rather than loads of weight.…
  • I had a binge today and I am disgusted with myself.... I just can't say no when food is put in front of me... pastries, biscuits, chocolate, big lunch out, lots of wine, chips, more pastries, more chocolate..... I have even made myself feel ill!! Don't dare calculate the calories :-( Reading this though has just made me…
  • eggs are high protein and relatively kind on the stomach too? Also - you can get nutritional shakes from the hospital which I had when I was on chemo last year. I used to have fortisips or fortijuices. They aren't all that tasty but have protein and all the vitamins, etc you need in and are easy to keep down. Em
  • So inspiring to see all the weights you guys can shift!! I do a lot of high rep work at the moment (i.e. Body Pump, but with relatively decent weights 20kg for back track) but I really want to get into lifting, I'm a bit scared to go out in the gym by myself!! Did you guys get PT's or anything for your first sessions?
  • Thanks guys! I did a half cheat meal in then end!! Before I went out I ran 5 miles and then ate a load of broccoli so I wasn't starving!! I then opted for chicken breast burger (with no bun) with goats cheese, salad and half a portion of chips..... Not the lowest calorie choice, but equally successfully managed to not…
  • Normally I would, but recently I have found if I go off the rails for one meal I find it really hard to get back on again!! I'm happy to be a bit naughty.... but I don't want to end up feeling guilty after so I end up giving up/ binging!! Make sense?? (I'm a bit all or nothing and I've had a really good streak the last few…
  • I just wanted to say thank you to all those that have and continue to donate blood! Without all of you I wouldn't be alive. When I was 17 I was absolutely terrified of needles, I would literally scream and run away, had to be pinned down for my immunisations!! But then I got diagnosed with a condition called aplastic…
  • I'm new to the running challenges but I'm going to give it a go this month!! I managed 25 miles this month with no real effort so reckon I can do more than that! Going to go for 45 miles!
  • Rest days are so important.... but like you I get itchy feet when I'm not doing anything!! I usually try to do rest days when I know I'm going to be quite busy with work, or out with friends or something. I tend to be quite active on those days anyway.... Otherwise, I do something low impact or beneficial to my rest. i.e.…
  • Thanks Shawn. I'm really trying hard at the moment to up the veggies and protein and reduce the fats and carbs..... I definitely couldn't fit in anymore exercise without risking overtraining..... I teach about 4 out of 7 days a week at the moment and usually do a bit of my own training either side of the class!! Currently…
