Hi ladies...I am almost to 1000 days on MFP, it has been a journey of ups, downs, injuries, surgeries, weight loss and lots of plateaus. I would love to be friends and motivators with you all...I'm still chipping away at it too.

I am 5'8" and 160 down from 350 (many year in the making). My goal weight is 150, 10lbs to go. I chose 150 because of my body frame, my range is 143-163 for "normal", I pick dead center, 150lbs. My doctor is in agreement with my goal number...so that is what it will be. Cheers all you beautiful ladies.

After massive weight loss and a certain age, it just is what it is. You can do all the conditioning to make the skin softer, which is good, but the excessive sag, it most likely will not spring back. I have lost 190lbs over a long period of time, very proud of it, but I too have the same, excessive skin. For folks such as…

17 days in, from the picture, there is visible change to your body. I don't understand the not counting calories part, it is a big component of MFP, what, when and how much you eat is keep to the balance between physical fitness and nutrition.

I am pretty consistent with my day time meals, the issue I am having is my evenings. I leave work at 5 and at the gym by 6.30-7, workout for 1 to1.5hrs, then go home and have a small dinner, which is very late, but am up for a few hours after (night owl). I tried eating before going to the gym, and that does not work, was…

The feeling I get when it is over, no guilt for not having done it, but before it over, my favorite part of my workout is when I break that first sweat, because I know I am working, then it just makes me work harder...nothing like leave the gym with a soaked shirt, means you killed it!!!

My goal for the month of March is to lose 5-7lbs, shake up my workouts a bit, I think my body is getting used to the routine, I'm in the home stretch and my body is say "you are really going to have to work for this last 20".

Don't over think it, you got this!

Hi Debbie, welcome to MFP. I started using the program faithfully last spring, and I have to say, after a bit of mind alteration and acceptance of what I was really doing to my body food wise and lack of exercise, I made a complete lifestyle shift...and I wasn't even fully aware that I had done. The best thing about MFP is…

I like the mirrors and use them, they help me correct my form, which I tend to break all the time. It is amazing the stress and tention incorrect posture can cause, not to mention injury.

My goal is about the same (52lbs to go) , I just found this group last week as well. Cheers to reaching our goals in 2013!

Congrats! I am on day two. Day one was pretty good, I worked out with my trainer last night, and am going to spin class tonight. Anything that takes up that dead time for me in the evening is a good thing, that when I want to smoke the most. Cheers! we can do it!

That is a great mantra.

Now this sounds delicious. Saving this version for sure.

Today is D-Day. The morning was good, nice and calm. Working out with my trainer this evening, that will help with the evening stressors.
