  • porridge is a godsend! you can make it with peanut butter and jam which will give you the energy and protein that you need for a workout. or you can just do it with sugar, or jam, or raisins, or honey! you get the jist! otherwise poached eggs/scrambled eggs on toast is another, or boiled eggs (i loved boiled eggs when i…
  • CARBS AREN'T BAD!! People need to get out of this mindset, it isn't about giving up its about keeping it in moderation! We need carbs for energy, its one of the best things to eat before a work out ( a mix of carbs and protein) we aren't meant to use protein for energy as it is mainly supposed to be stored. The atkins diet…
  • Porridge is really good for slow releasing energy, you need to include protein in you meal though if you want to build muscle tone with your work out so if you have porridge add in some peanut butter. My favorite is porridge with peanut butter and strawberry jam. Its got the sugar from the fruit for the burst of energy,…
  • are you sure you did it right? when i first did it i didn't minus my 4.7 x age inyears and it came out as quite high? However its also important to note that the more weight you have the more calories your body does actually need a day because you are using much more energy just to survive. e.g a 6ft 5 person will have way…

  • that doesn't sound like a very good friend!! Don't let her get you down because in the long run you are doing things the harder way and therefore you are learning more from your experience. By doing this you are giving yourself the tools for healthy eating to carry on throughout your life, not just a quick fix! I really…
  • I don't really weigh myself as i think i'd just start to get competitive with numbers! Its bad enough that i have to eye myself against other women/girls! I'll do it every now and again though, maybe once a month! Its an ok way of measuring your progress as its easy to step onto a scale although my advice is just be…
  • your body will benefit more from healthier foods in the long run. even though treats are brilliant its more about giving your body enough nutrients and the keys to keep it working probably! not that a couple of bags of malteasers are going to send your body into meltdown!! haha my advice: just try to balance it out, pair a…

  • i used to hate it so just started by not brewing it for too long and then as time goes on you just get more used to it and can make it stronger. i'd also recommend getting the lomon or mint green teas as it takes the kick off! now green tea is the only tea i drink!
  • Definitely! I think sometimes it is worse than others...i read somewhere that if you stare at a part of your body it will seem bigger to you than if you just glanced at it which is a really weird thing to think about! I wear a UK size 6/8 which is slim however whenever i look in the mirror i still see the size 12/14 girl…
  • I'd love to say someone like Jennifer Aniston but she's tall so i've got no hope in hell! I know that one of them had their problems but i love Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. They are beautifully petite!
