Remember that you sweat a lot during exercise and so you will lose a lot of water weight. I weighed myself before and after exercise once and lost 1kg in water weight! I lost nearly 2 stones whilst training for my last half marathon. I just made sure that I fueled my work outs and long runs correctly (I made sure I ate a good amount of carbs - porridge, whole-wheat pasta, sweet potatoes etc) and ate back my exercise calories so I met my daily goal. I like to have flavoured cups of tea (peppermint and licorice, berry fruit teas etc) or I've grown to like raw mushrooms, very low cal snack! Otherwise other veggies like tomatoes and green beans are very low cal and tasty with a bit of lemon!
