Frozen banana, PB2, cinnamon, sprinkle of Splenda, splash of vanilla....sometimes top with some Medley Crunch Cheerios. Delish!

Sweet potatoes are also delicious -- RAW!!! Cut them into sticks like carrots or celery, eat with or without a dip. You'll be surprised!

In the movie "Dead Again" Kenneth Branagh plays a guy trying to quit smoking. His friend tells him, "Decide whether you're a smoker or a nonsmoker and BE that." From a review: "....it's all pretty forgettable stuff save for one haunting scene featuring Andy Garcia, who plays newspaper reporter Gray Baker. Garcia's…

Congratulations on deciding to take charge of your health! Take one day at a time and log religiously. And remember -- a year from now you'll be glad you started today! :flowerforyou:

Eat your fruit and include it in your daily calories. You can get a lot of fruit vs not much ice cream, for instance!

Moon Pops (aka Magic Pops aka Deli Pops). You can get them at some Krogers or Central Markets, they are made in the store. They're rice cakes that look more like tortillas, only really crunchy. They come in several flavors (cinnamon, whole wheat, multigrain, etc) and one cake about 6" in diameter has 16 -20 calories. The…

Here! Here!!!! I'm 63, lost 63 pounds, and have been on maintenance for almost a year. MFP is an integral part of my life now, I log all my meals and exercise every day, and am determined NEVER TO BE FAT AGAIN!!!!

It's not what choosy mothers would choose, but for the calorie tradeoff it's not bad! I use it all the time. Mix it in with a fat-free vanilla yogurt, maybe some cocoa powder and you have a yummmy pudding. Chop up a frozen banana in that, while you're at it! Of course, I still work Jif into my calorie plan....once a week…

Try Extreme Wellness tortillas. They're huge, and the Tomato Basil or Spinach only have 90 calories. Delicious as well!

If you want a guy who flirts outrageously while he's engaged to someone else -- go for it. Break them up (you'll certainly be doing HER a favor!), and you can both go off and be the kind of people you really are, no pretenses. Of course, it won't be long before you don't "get" him any more, and some cute little thing will…

An occasional taste, usually low fat mozzarella. Just too calorie dense for me. However, I manage to work in peanut butter!!!

Six pounds. hope it'll come off as fast as it went on!!!:ohwell:

Meet Me in St Louis from 1944. Judy Garland sings "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." Fabulous movie!

I think certain foods are juiced to increase the craving, much as cigarette manufacturers juice up their product. That said, it doesn't remove personal responsibility from the equation. You and only you are responsible for what goes into your mouth. If you know Nutella is your irresistible craving, you have to change…

For my evening snack when I need to get some calories in (I'm on maintenance, don't want to lose any more) -- I have a serving of Kashi (Go Lean if I need more calories, Indigo Morning if I need fewer), Light and Fit Nonfat Yogurt and perhaps a frozen banana. YUM!!!
-
Cheers! You are doing GREAT!!!
-
You THE QUEEN!!!! Congratulations!

Donate, kick to the curb or otherwise ditch those baggy clothes! No way are you ever going to fit into them again! I still haven't cleared all mine out, and it's a real kick to see how enormous I was just a year ago. During my weight loss months, I kept buying smaller sizes that I ended up only wearing for a month or so;…

Restaurant rice and beans (especially refried!) are very high calorie. Throw in just one 200 calorie tortilla, and most people will be over their calorie allowance and eaten a lot of fat and refined carbs they wouldn't eat otherwise. Make your own rice and beans, don't refry, and swap that flour tortilla for a 90 kcal…

I only eat ONE of these at a time, and only during Elvis Week to honor the King. Elvis Presley's Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich Ingredients ◦2 slices of white bread ◦2 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter ◦1 small ripe banana mashed ◦2 tablespoons butter Instructions Spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread…

I've gained weight twice in my life and had to lose it. (about 60 pounds each time). NEVER. AGAIN. I will be MFPing the rest of my life, logging food and exercise and staying aware of what's happening with my body.
-
I'm at 1560 kcsl/day, per MFP. I'm still logging, and plan to do so forever. I originally gained weight by just being a gobblejaws and mindlessly eating whatever the heck I wanted. It's amazing how effective it is to just PAY ATTENTION. I have MFP on my phone, tablet and PCs at home and work. Never an excuse not to log!

Serving sizes on anything can be pretty arbitrary. One little snack size can of tuna - 2 servings? Apple - 2 servings? And then you're supposed to eat 5-6 servings per day? It's just a way to lower calorie counts, but who cares???
