  • Someone said nobody tells you that you don’t have to stick to the same handle that you lost weight with that in my experience they say that all the time. That’s why I sister to an eating style, but I would be willing to live with pretty much forever and then tweak that along the way so maintenance Has not been an issue. I…
  • Yes, I did lose down to my normal BMI range (around 40 lbs. lost) and have kept it and more off for nine years. But I was also very committed to ending my compulsive overeating and that meant eventually also being rather careful about what I put on my plate or in my bowl for meals. I used many thinking principles from…
  • My motivation today ( and most days) is that I want to see if I can recover some of my younger body’s ability to process legumes and whole grains. They shoot my blood glucose up into prediabetic and diabetic zones no matter what the recommendations say is supposed to happen. I can’t know it is possible unless I take the…

I guess I mostly want to support others that it is doable to find some kind of…

Sure, they can change in the short run, and you can find testimonials for longer results, but they don't change the overall…
  • I've been using 3 meals a day on weekdays with about 90% compliance for more than 4 years. I lost 40 lbs. slowly and have maintained in my normal BMI range for two years. Three meals a day is the norm in France and Italy. (Norm means most of the time.) They have the lowest average BMI's in Europe.
