I look at it like this: PCOS (yes, I have it) helps me put on weight.....but in order to put on that weight, I still need to eat the food.

I eat whatever I want while on vacation

My husband and I wanted to go parasailing together. Combined, we were too heavy (by a lot). Glad to say that in Dec 2013, we went parasailing in Grand Turk and were well under the weight limit.

It's really up to you. I'm in Florida so not only is it HOT but it's also humid. Some runs feel more like swimming the air is so thick! I usually wear a Danskin running tank from Wal-Mart- super cheap and keeps me covered enough to feel comfortable without being too restricted.

I eat lots of pizza. Love it.

I like Amy's burritos.

Same here. I also found it easier to run outside rather than on the treadmill with the app.

I have PCOS and I was advised to use the South Beach Diet- follow the principles of such. Also, exercise. In addition, I took Metformin for a few months (helps with insulin resistance, not weight loss).

The timing of mine hasn't changed. The flow and intensity have gotten much more bearable though. Oh, and it's only 3 days instead of 7. A HUGE plus in my book :)

Honestly, I just say okay and go about my business. FTR, I eat the whole egg and have no idea what's people's beef with the whole egg. An egg is like 80 calories max- people aren't overweight from eating too many eggs so I don't know what the deal is. Also, the obsession with cauliflower recipes on MFP astounds me.

twice a day, most days.

Kids really want to fit in. Find a grocery store like Whole Foods or whatever and find a healthier version of a lunchable or whatever. Get some of those fun size Halloween candies and drop one in their lunch each day. I'm sure you can find a version of Lunchable with whole grain crackers or whatever.

No, that's why I have to read so that I will understand before I make any changes.

Okay, I did the TDEE calculator and got: Your BMR is:1469 Calories/Day Your TDEE is:2020 Calories/Day and it says I could take away up to 25% off the calories. I'll have to read into this more.

I was told by my RE that it's okay to do the same exercise you always do.

That's what I was going to ask. How are you calculating calories burned? If you're guessing, maybe you're not burning what you think you are. I got a heart rate monitor from Wal-Mart that seems to estimate the calories burned very well. Also, I think you should focus on eating nutritious, whole foods and balanced meals.…

It makes total sense. I think you'd be better though eating SOME of your exercise calories back. Personally, I subtract 10% from my calories burned and then log that amount (heart rate monitor says 500 calories burned- I only log 450 burned on MFP). Of those 450 that I log, I eat back approx 300 or so.

I got mine in the workout section at Wal-Mart. It was like $25 or so.
