Nope, I drink them also. I love the caramel, banana. and chocolate ones. I buy them when they are on sale at Sam's Club. Makes them a little over $1 per drink with 30 grams of carbs.

I struggle to get my 10K steps also since I work a day day. However, I use a tracker on my phone and most times, I walk and leave my phone on my desk. I must invest in a fitbit real soon

I use to daily but I plan to stop TODAY and start weekly. I did my weekly weigh in yesterday and was happy with the number. Got on this morning and was 3.2 lbs heavier. It really broke my heart. So I am getting my hubby to hide the scale and only give it to me on Sunday mornings for my weekly weigh ins.

Good DVD with the meal plan. I just couldn't completely follow the plan because I didn't like cabbage soup. However, the DVD gives your body a full workout within about 45-50 mins top. Get ready to squat lol

Yes, crossfit circuit is what my YMCA offers also. I didn't know there was a difference. Guess you learn something new everything. Thanks!

Yes, I plan to only do what my body can handle. I will modify the workouts myself until I get used to doing them. I want to lose weight and tone up, not get hurt. Thanks for the advice.

See, this is what I am afraid of lol. My cousin does it and told me that I will be so sore that it will hurt to walk but it will go away the more I go. How the heck I suppose to do anything else after being that sore. If I join the Y, the classes are free so I think I may give it a shot. Still a little nervous about it. I…

Wow. Really good information. Thank you everyone. To answer a few questions, no I do not believe the trainer is a certified nutrition. He did state that he needs our blood type to know what foods will be allowed and not while on his plan. This will be a question that I will ask him.
-
Thank you and I will keep everyone updated. I have until Friday to decide if I want to use the trainer or not before all the slots are filled for the New Year.
-
Good luck tomorrow night. You can do it. I have no strength at all and that is one of the main reasons I would like to have a trainer. I believe I can handle the cardio part by using the elliptical and treadmill but would like to learn a little more.
-
No this trainer has his own training studio. Not one from the gym. I just need the gym membership to use the equipment and have no excuses when I don't agree with the weather to workout outside.
-
Thank you so much!
-
So true. I totally agree that it's time to invest in my health and do something for me.
-
To be honest, yes I really believe I can. I really need to lose weight and get healthy for my 2 young kids. My down fall is going to be on my nutrition and I believe the trainer can help me greatly in that area and I will be held accountable at weigh in.
