 Just trying to have a little fun. Lighten up ladies. There are actually studies on intentional eating for selecting a boy or girl.

I am a big Trader Joe's fan too! I like all their produce, breads, fiber granola bars, carrot juice, granola, cottage cheese, ect.

I agree and I do go over my sugar often. Thanks for the good reminder.

It depends if you want to have a baby boy or a baby girl. If you want to have a baby boy you should consume 1800-2000 (or more) calories a day. (Extra calories). If you want to have a baby girl, consume around 1200 calories.( A little under calories). For atleast 2 weeks consistantly. If you just want a healthy baby, then…

You can get a second opinion. Therapy works wonders and is as effective as medication. My son has showed a dramatic improvement. I think medication should be a last resort, ecspecially with children since we do not know the long term side effects.

I know exactly what you are going through. I always get calorie anxiety........like now. I need to go from 2100 to 2500. But once you do it, your body adapts and thanks you with physical results. I started at 1400 and upped it twice (300 + at a time.) and it's not that noticble ecspecially if you're just adding liquid…

Yes, I have. A weight change is a lot of stress on your mind. And it infact can make you initially look worse, ecspecially when it's fast. I think you should reduce levels of stress. Therapy, meditation, message, accupunture, reading, watching a movie, window shopping, anything that starts to put your mind at ease. Because…

Good Question! I think you have to ask yourself if you really don't like veggies or you just were never introduced properly to them as a child. I would probably stick to what you enjoy for now and when you are feeling brave, pick up a new vegtable or fruit to prepare w/one meal. Corn on the cob is a nice addition to…

I have one suggestion that is my quick dinner go to. Burritos. You can make 7 of them stuffed w/anything under the sun and freeze them. I microwave them and then toast them and they are great. And then if it's late and you need calories, just add condiments, marinara, cheese. ect. Shakes are another great option because…

Excellent choice on your decision to quit smoking. :smokin: Your mind has decided this, however your body has a mind of it's own. And it will take atleast 21 days to make your body & mind accept you are a nonsmoker and develop a new, hopefully "better" behavior. I don't really understand the question. I think you are…

 I have heard of studies done on poor nations though. Their health is significantly superior to developed countries. Their diet usually consists of carbohydrate as staple. Such as rice, onions or potatoe and small quantities of meat and in season fruits and vegtables. Personally, I cook more when I make less money…

I have many friends that were at this event and feel deeply saddened that this marathon has been scarred and prostituted by a greed & ignorance! My heart goes out to everyone near and far because it is another reminder that no one is safe. Our children are growing up surrounded by murder and violence and their bubble has…

Hi. It sounds like the main source of your diet is healthy. So, I think it's fine to add some of your favorite treats & snacks & drinks to fill in any gaps. :flowerforyou:

I love those moments when you realize something good is happening because everyone around you is opening doors, asking you for directions, smiling and telling jokes for you. It's a good feeling & I've had a lot of that this week. Thanks MFP.

Hope you feel better soon. You may be having a relapse of anorexia. I think you should ralley up your support team. Like whoever helped you the first time. Call them up and tell them what's going on or find someone you really trust because I'm hearing some red flags in your post. Take care!!

 Keep your head up. We are emotional creatures. Therefor, we eat, shop, work, call friends based on emotions. I find when my emotions get too strong I feel uplifted by using an approach based on science. So, do some extra research and find a proven method that combats bloating and hormonal issues through foods that…

dark chocolate chips and maple syrup. It tastes like chocolate chip pancakes.

That's a fun goal. I think add a yummy dessert to each meal. Or, polish each one w/a choclate milk or boost. I would be picking out my favorite things, fruit juice, chocolate protien bars, cheese cake, ect anything small to fit it in there.
-
Great point Ladies. Wait untill you reach your goal weight and then shop till you drop! Because you deserve it. I can't wait.............sweats till then however (cute ones nonetheless).

Good Thinking being more health concious. But, Wow, that is a lot. I think swapping 5 things for healthier options is a good start and it won't break the bank. GL.

I don't count my kids calories. That's a little intense for me. However, you made a great point about emotional eating. I also treat my kids when something goes array. I think that is a lazy way to resolve circumstances (on my behalf) . Good point.

I remember my first omelet. My mom made it for dinner. It was eggs whisked in milk and spinkled cheese with a side of tabasco and ketchup. It was very good.
