PB2 chocolate peanut butter powder. Mix it in. Mind. Blown.

I feel like I'm talking to my 2009 self. These were the foods I used to eat constantly. Diet foods. Packaged foods. Sodium filled foods. Non-food foods. Full of CARBS foods. First of all, you can eat more than that! 1600-1800 calories easily. But ditch the cereals and the lean cuisines...you can eat a massive salad filled…

Eating more than your burning. Vegan doesn't make a difference. I by NO MEANS am being mean by saying this...but I don't THINK you can be 19% BF and be 5ft 6 and 183 pounds. I am 148 at 5 ft 6 and pretty muscular...I'm 21 or 22%. I'd refigure your numbers and give it another go. You will get this!!

It's hard not to freak. The jump is usually so drastic and it has usually taken us weeks, maybe months to get rid of the few pounds it instantly adds. I'm glad it went back down again! I always get so upset when this happens...even though I know it's water. It's all mental. Chinese is usually worth it though. :-D

Before I lowered or raised calories, I would ask yourself if you are truly measuring your intake correctly. With a food scale. Not ballpark or even with measuring cups. A few hundred extra calories can add up. FAST. And talking to Dan is never a bad idea. Give him a PM for sure! :-) You are at an ideal weight for your…

I am not afraid of fat in my diet, so I don't think it's that. I watch my carbs...nothing drastic....but fats are a free for all as long as i'm in my calorie goal. :-D I'm around 21% BF according to my scale...FWTW. So average. Everytime I've had blood work done, it comes back perfect. I will ask again though. My periods…

Also not true. MFP is getting really bad at cycling misinformation. Giving up things doesn't make you lose weight. A calorie deficit does. Cutting out soda etc is great in that it's removing empty calories, but if you are still eating more than you are burning you will continue to gain/maintain...and no you are NOT gaining…

Low carb/ not processed....if you are eating too much of anything you will gain weight. Measure all your food...food scale....and really track EVERYTHING. Cutting things out isn't the answer. Burning less calories than consumed is. Get a HRM if you can afford one, and start to measure everything. You should see changes. I…

I would guess you are eating more than you think. Make sure you are weighing EVERYTHING. No guesttimates. Also are you using a HRM? I teach Bodybalance and typically burn 100-150 calories. Usually less than if I'm hopping around my house doing errands since It's yoga based. 300-350 sounds way too high. The flux can…

1st post? I smell a troll.

As a fitness instructor I take offense to that.

BANGS HEAD AGAINST WALL. BANGS HEAD AGAINST WALL! NO, NO, NO! If you are really eating that little, and I mean really, then you would be losing weight. Every morsel. Every morsel. Weigh it and log it. You should definitely be eating more than 1300 for your size...and since you aren't losing, my guess is that you ARE eating…

^^^^ This. TOTALLY!

WOW. Good for you.

What a crappy thing to say. That is EASY. Are you kidding me? Good food is high in calories...girlfriend I LOVE me some pork. Please tell me it was bbq. :-) I wouldn't try and reach a goal tomorrow. That's me. I would eat healthy foods, and maybe drop it to 1500-1600 if that filled me for a day or two. If hungry, go up to…

AWWW, I don't mean to be a hater, but that sounds like just a ton of processed carbs and sugar. Especially in the graham crackers....pretty much anything considered "reduced fat" is filled back out with extra sugar. I'd rather have a scoop of regular ice cream, or a small real ice cream sandwich. :-)

If by Quest bars, you mean the FIFTY dollars worth that just came to my door, then yes I know about them. OM NOM NOOOOOM!!
-
I freaking LOVE these bars. When I'm out and about....I have one in my purse. If I'm not going home after the gym...got one. Dessert? Sure why not. Awesomeness.

Diary isn't open. :-)

It's a habit like anything else. It doesn't even occur to me to drive through anymore. It's just not part of my day to day. What has helped is always being prepared. I ALWAYS have snacks in my purse and car. Always. Quest bar. 100 calories almond pack. Turkey Jerky. Whatever I need. So if I'm starving and in the car, I…

8 pounds is AWESOME!!! It's all going to be about a mind shift from diet to living a healthy lifestyle. Cheesy as that sounds. When you take care of yourself physically it's just something you naturally do, when it's a diet it's something you can stop/fall off wagon from etc. Keep changes small. Find things that make that…

You will be totally fine...wanted to add in....that on your profile it says you are good for a few days and then binge. At 1200 it just isn't enough. You are YOUNG and seem to be a healthy weight. You are binging because your body is craving fuel. Willpower is like a muscle....it weakens as it fatigues. I'd bump your…

Losing weight is hard. Maintaining is hard. Being overweight is hard. You gotta choose your hard. Giving up doesn't mean you will now be happy...now you will unhappy with being overweight and not feeling good about yourself. No 5/2 stuff. Eat a little less, move a little more. Track and stay under your goal. Make your food…

OMG ^^^^this would be the death of me. That jar would be GONE.
