Exactly. Years ago I would drink 2-3 2scoop shakes a day thinking it would help. All that extra protein gets burned off as energy. If you already eat around your bodyweight in protein there not really a need. Maybe as dessert. BSN syntha 6 tastes really good.

If your trying to lose weight you wouldn't want to eat the calories back, you want to eat at a deficit. The strength training is there to maintain your muscle mass. If you want to gain weight you would eat a surplus every day.

Look at alot of Asian cultures who's diet is centered around carbs. They have much healthier bodyweights compared to Americans for example. Perhaps the problem is being unactive and consuming large amounts of fats to go with your carbs...
