People who let their dogs approach me on retractable leashes. No, I do not want to pet your dog, I'm out here to exercise. Also, please don't make me run off the trail so your dog can stay on it.

First make sure you have a tidy, clean work out area. A nice space makes you want to be there. Then check out the variety of work out DVDs available from your library. If you have a smart phone or tablet, look for free apps. I love love love Nike Training Club, but there are many free apps available, it kind of surprised…

Fiber one cereal, the original pellet looking stuff. I nibble on it, one or two pieces at a time taking a few big swigs of water along the way. It's only like 60 calories per 1/2 cup and reasonable satisfying and a bit sweet, tasty and crunchy.

Yes! Great puddles of sweat! My hair looks like I just stepped out of the shower! Although I suppose it's not the worst problem I could have.

Very cool! Congratulations!

I suppose dehydration is a possibility or contributor. I have had a little cramping in my calves lately too and I know that could be dehydration as well. Another reason to watch my water intake!

I have used my 9 pound kitty as a weight while doing squats. I snuggle her close and she licks my sweaty neck!

I really love the Nike Training Club app. It's free, has great variety in difficulty level and length of work out as well as goal. I have used it for right around a year now and consider it part of my fitness foundation.

I have been using a Polar FT4 for about 3 weeks now and really like it. It is not the fanciest HRM, but it gives me the calorie and time information I want. It costs in the $60-$70 range on Amazon. The display is large and it is also easy to use and play with the settings during the work out

OK, I'll do it. I guess all squats are done at the same time? No breaking it up throughout the day?
