Good Lord - I've heard about this - cat juggling!

I curl, bench press, dead lift, and OHP my cats. I thoroughly enjoyed it. They did not. I didn't care

    ETA: spidercat is also acceptable.

LoL, one of my cat's is named "Spider", because when he was a kitten he would walk along the drop ceiling in the basement.

No, it's not abuse, just creative. They actually have doggy yoga (yoga you do with your dog), YouTube it.

I use my bigger cat to do bench presses when we're snuggling on the bed, but he's barely 15 lbs, so that's nothing.

My 15 pound Jack Russell rides the Pilates machine when I am on it. I figure it is extra resistance.

    Does this count as crossfit?

Only if you drop them at the top of a lift. Then they're very cross.

I use my kittehs as weights all the time. I like to think their struggling helps me gain strength.

My cat would claw me to death and then piss on my dead body. No thank you.
i believe cats would actually eat your dead body, but maybe not if they hated you enough

i use my GSD for resistance training a lot - he calls it tugging. but he's the all round gym, there's interval training (running for kong), endurance, and personal 'motivation' or 'coaching' (are we going? it's time. whack - edit: it's him whacking me with the end of the toy, if i hit him, i'd lose an arm).
since i have to get him ready for the next vet visit, i also lift him onto tables and boxes and the like. 80lb resisting deadlift anyone?

I wish I had a big dog to deadlift.
  • I have used my 9 pound kitty as a weight while doing squats. I snuggle her close and she licks my sweaty neck!
