  • Thank you for posting this question. I'm still a newbie with this grain/seed! Looking forward to trying that 2 grain salad.
  • Awesome post. I just changed my settings yesterday to lose half pound/wk vs one pound/wk. I'm hoping the extra calorie bump will get my past my plateau, especially since I'm just a few pounds from my goal weight!
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter and an apple. Almond butter is pricey ($10/jar), but I think its worth it to have in your cupboard and make it last a month.
  • Personally, I think you're not eating enough. I don't care how much a person weighs, 1200 calories is just not enough and your body knows it so its holding onto your weight. I'd challenge you to add a couple hundred healthy calories and see if the scale is more cooperative. It is especially important to consume more…
  • I've been weighing in every Friday. I've found that it does "buy" me time if I overindulged a bit over the weekend. However, it also gives me motivation to be "good" over the weekends, especially after losing a pound.

  • My Mom just bought the DVD this weekend. I'll ask her what she thought. I just bought a Bob Harper workout with the kettle bell, plan to try it out tomorrow!
  • Hi Ladies! I'd love to join you for motivation as well. I just had my 3rd baby on November 19 and I'm using MFP to shed the baby weight. I'm a very active person who loves to workout, but post pregnancy weight has always been a struggle for me..its like cement! I gained and lost over 50lbs with my first 2 and plan to do so…
  • Have you ever tried cardio kickboxing either through a class at the gym or with home video? The cardio combined with all of the punches, jabs, kicks, etc. really helps to keep a toned back.
  • I'm not a certified trainer, but I would say that recommendation is for true weight lifters. I've always used the rule of thumb not to work the same muscle groups two days in a row. From personal training sessions I've taken in the past I've used the following lifting combinations: day1: triceps/biceps day2: chest/back…
