If I spent houes hard core cleaning my home, I would probably log it. Why not? Why do people care so much what other people are logging? Maybe this helps them stay motivated? Maybe this works for them? We should be supportive of one another, not hating on each other.

Is it related to your period? If it isn't very often, I suggest you just eat. To heck with living in misery. Try reaching for the healthier things. BUT EAT!

I do soooo well on weekends because I wake up later and there is no stress or bordem etc. So I hear ya! I work as a therapist so am sitting a lot and am at my desk a lot. I find it challenging because I wake up at 7am and go until 4:30PM and am up until 11PM. Not the same as your shift, I know. But, I find it challenging…

I don't recommend following the calorie intake limit that MFP sets for you.
-
Inform him... tell him that you have so many cals a day and as long as what you are eating is within then it is okay. Also, you should not be feeling hungry! Or do what I do: You make me feel like ****? GOOD-BYE. I am a hardass though.

If you are not going to accept advise from people YOU ASKED who have been working hard and actually DOING IT and think you have it all figured out because you did it before and your mom did it etc, then why are you asking and arguing? Looks like you got your answer.
-
Simple. You get back on the wagon and keep going.
-
LMAO at this
-
I was at 1200 cals because stupid MFP told me too. Then I did proper calculations and based on everything (age, height, activity level, goal, etc) I should actually be eating 1500 a day... and I feel so much better now!

How will losing 10 pounds fast make you develop "discipline"? It is about life style changes... get rid of the junk, figure out what your calorie intake is in order to lose 1-2 pounds a week, buy some healthy low cal foods that won't make you feel hungry, and stick with it. Maybe speak with your doctor? I don't think rapid…

i think mine is open. u may add me

Ohhh. Okay. That does make sense. 5 weeks just seems like such a long time. The 5 pound days are more discouraging than the 10, I guess. What bothers me is that when I calculate how many calories I should be having to lose 2 lbs a week... other calculations are saying "1500ish" and MFP was saying 1200... so I feel like now…
-
whatever helps keep you feeling full.

I have told myself that I am in this for the long haul. I try to avoid always checking the scale, getting upset if I haven't lost a bunch of weight yet, getting upset if I mess up and eat something really bad and go over calories for the day, etc. I need to be easy on myself and adjust to this because this is a lifestyle…
-
I think 5. But, my scale was off.... so maybe nothing.
-
You look 10 years younger too!
-
Yes. You burn more calories when it is cold.
-
I don't think I CAN be skinny. When I gain weight it goes to hips, butt, and breasts. No matter what I do I have that hour-glass shape. Men seem to love it.... so I guess I love it too. lol
-
Poo and water retention would be my guesses.
-
Holy *kitten*....

When I was stupidly only eating 1200 cals a day and would feel hungry later in the evening I would crave ANYTHING anyone else was eating, and it would not go away. For a while it was salsa and corn chips. When I used to live in Toronto I craved Sushi like all of the time.

People want easy solutions and want others to do the work for them (i.e., create a pill, have all the meals ready and prepackaged and ready to go, etc).
-
More importantly do YOU feel or notice a difference? I can notice very small things in myself that I do not think others would notice yet. I think it is important to not focus too much on the results too soon cause it can be discouraging.

Where the crap are you buying bread that costs THAT much!?!? It is about 1.99-2.50 a loaf here (Nova Scotia).
-
I don't know what your budget is or where you live... I am in Nova Scotia so fish of any sort is CHEAP! which helps. But also canned tuna perhaps. You can also make the things you ARE buying healthier... like whole wheat pasta (or if you shop at Superstore, "blue menu" stuff is always lower in fat and calories). Whole…

I did it the opposite way. I started going to gym for free to try it out with a friend and got into really enjoying it... and once I was used to it I started eating better and reducing cals and it made the gym seem even more worthwhile going! Awesome that the reverse works for you though!

Lookin' hot!

1. To be the best version of myself I can be! (thinner, fitter, stronger, healthier, energetic, etc. It all goes together) 2. To make my ex go insane next time I see him. Ha! 3. To make other women hide their boyfriends from me. I joke! I joke! 4. I have no reason NOT TO GET FIT!

I am a clinical therapist... so I sit in an office for most of day, stand for some, and run around for some. However, my coworker in office next to be always has a big jar of yummy chocolates in her office and there is always yummy vanilla coffee creamer and coffee in the kitchen.... So... my job makes it challenging for…

I was doing 1200 cals a day and was like always hungry and then adjusted it to 1563 (according to the TDEE stuff rather than MFP) and I feel much better. Are you perhaps doing more activity a day than you are making note of? You can add me as a friend and look at my diaries if you would like. But, I eat things like eggs,…
