Keep up the good work!

Hey, a 0.7 pound less is better than a 0 pound loss or even worse..........a gain of any number. I would take it! Congratulations on that 0.7 pound loss. Keep up the good work!

Cheering you on!!!! You can do it!

How is everyone doing? For some reason, Day 7 was painful for me and a little boring. So I did Zumba as soon as I finished the Shred last night to wake my body up a little bit.
-
I'm with you! I am getting a little bored which makes it harder for me to keep it up but my friend is doing it with me and I can't let her or myself down. So yesterday, we went out and bought a Zumba game for the Xbox and we LOVED it! It was awesome to top the Shred off with a little dancing. Kept me motivated.

I see the improvement! Keep up the good work! Today is Day 7 for me and I am taking photos every 10 days. So, I have pics of when I first started my journey and then every 10 days after that. I first started on November 25, 2012 so I will post on February 25, 2013 on my progress. I know I have lost inches and I haven't…

Don't worry! Take a days break if you need to. I took a break from the Shred on Sunday which would have been day 7 for me and just did an hour long walk on some hills by my house. I will pick back up today and continue on with day 7.

What does Pilates entail? I swear I hear about it and yoga but just want to know what it's all about.
-
I had a problem with push ups too on day 5. Don't know why as every other day doing push ups was easier.
-
No, there will be no instant gratification but the first time I completed the Shred, I lost more than 18 inches altogether. It was awesome. Hoping to have the same results with it this time around too. Also thinking about putting my scale away until March.

Day 5, done!

I am the odd ball because for some reason I just cannot ever finish the jump rope move for the entire thirty seconds. I don't seem to have a problem with anything else on level 1 except that move. Lol @ Demilade. I wear one regular bra, one sports bra and these things still jiggle every where. I'm honestly hoping these D'…

I am 5'2" and I want to be between 135 and 140 pounds. I have been 115 at my lowest and 255 at my highest. I liked my body best when I was between 135 and 140. (Have lots of butt and hips also).

You look beautiful on your wedding day and overall. Way to go on your weight loss!
-
Way to go! Day 5 is waiting on me when I get home. How was day 4 for you? It was suprisingly better for me than days 1-3.
-
That's the same thing I was thinking. I can't see believing the scale saying I am 230 one day and the next day I am 240. The funny thing is the first time I EVER used a scale, I was about 21 years old. I was small and never really thought to use one before. But I was fascinated by the number and I started using it every…

Love this one and totally believe it.

Don't know if this one's been posted yet but my avi is one: Instead of making reasons why I can't, I make reasons why I can!

I second this. I am deathly afraid of what JM is going to have me doing on Levels 2 and 3. I feel like I am mastering Level 1 and then when I go to Level 2, I will get the reality of weakness slapped back into me. JM is EVIL!!!!!

I personally would make this decision by measuring my endurance. Today is day 5 for me. Day 1 was hell, as was day 2, then it got a bit better on day 3. Surprisingly though, day 4 was very easy for me and I had no pain. I did every push-up, sit-up, lunge, squat, and jump rope move (which I didn't do all the way on days…

Better than where I am, in Maryland and it is cold as I don't know what here. 30 degrees at night and 40 degrees during the day. Fabulous.....can't workout outside because I do not like the cold weather. Send some of your heat my way.

Don't know how I missed this yesterday but HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! Good job on working out on your special day! I hope it was awesome!

You go, girlfriend! I admire your hark work and determination. Did you learn how to lift weights on your own or were you showed properly? I want to learn because I have these little, itty, bitty weights at home (1 lb, 2 lbs, and 10 lbs). I am trying to hit the big league with my weight lifting. Maybe try 20 lbs (hahaha,…

Thanks!

I actually have a 1-mile Leslie Sansone dvd that I just completed last night after doing the 30 Day Shred and it does include weights. But as a previous poster said, you don't have to use the arm weights if you don't want to. Just like a JM's dvd, Leslie Sansone has two people in the dvd that I have that you can follow.…

I have the exact same issue. But I happen to like my booty and i'm hoping not to lose it. Highly doubt I will because this thing just follows me around! Squats though will make it higher, not sure about smaller, but weight loss might just bring that on. Good luck!

Welcome! I too started a little earlier and am on day 4. I feel suprisingly great and I am ready for today.

Sorry OP, I responded to somone's comment on accident but it was meant for you.

Great topic.....For the life of me, I can't keep these things down even with three bras on. I needs me a good one. Thanks, for starting this.
