That is crazy one!

I tried some of the over the counter diet pills several years ago (like dexatrim). They gave me a nasty side and then when I took Imodium to help with that, it counteracted the diet pills.

I am doing a study called Made to Crave Action Plan. Dr. Ski Chilton is co-author and he recommends 25g of fiber per day for women and 35g of fiber per day for men. It helps keep us satiated. When I have the 25g of fiber, it makes things much easier. He also recommends drinking 16oz of water 1st thing in the morning before…

The chocolate martini I had the other day was not a great use of my calories. I have been trying to walk at lease 3 miles with my dogs each day to burn some of the snack calories I have eaten. Starbucks coffee is one of the things I have to limit myself on. I don't like plain coffee. It's more like I have a little coffee…

That is awesome!

Add me, please. In a challenge to lose 15 by 11/1 with one of my friends so 20 by Christmas would be icing on the cake. (But I won't eat the cake.)

I like that quote. Thanks for sharing.

I did the same (except it was GoodWill), but I do have 1 pair of pants I have tucked in a drawer to remind me of where I do not want to be. I also think when I finally get to my goal weight, they will help make a great before and after pic.

I sit at a desk all day and my commute is about 1-1/2 hrs each way. I try to walk as much as possible when I take a break. I also try to go for a walk of at least a mile or play Just Dance for the Wii. I live in the middle of the desert so we have to wait until later in the evening to walk for a large portion of the year.…

I'll have to try these!

I switched from soda to tea to powerade to water with Mio/Dasani drops. It took a little while but that was over 4 years ago. I can't drink soda anymore. It hurts my stomach so much.

That's awesome!

Don't overload the plate. Wait before getting 2nds to see if I'm really hungry or just want it for the taste. Desserts are extremely small portions. And throw in lots of walking and housework. I do all of the cooking for my family. I make just about everything from scratch so I know that there are fresh ingredients in…

Hard boiled are my favorite. But I also love it quiche with lots of fresh spinach, bell peppers, and onions. I also make one with bacon and sausage. It is usually a hit whenever I make it. Now, I'm in the mood for some quiche.

Hubby bought me a cardio trampoline to help with all of the jumps on level 3. It has a lot less impact on the knees!

Level 3 arms/knees are sore. Can't wait to see the results at the end of the 30 days. I did take a break for 2 days because I wasn't feeling well but I am now back on track.

Grapefruit diet - didn't work Dexatrim pills - gave me diarrhea. The Imodium I took to stop it, counteracted the Dexatrim and I was extremely hungry. SlimFast shakes - same as above. Also, tried Weight Watchers. That one didn't work for me. Now, trying to keep track of what I eat (eat less) & to exercise.

Level 3 = lots of jumping. What in the world?!

Finished level 2 tonight. Will be doing level 3 tomorrow. Not sure I'm ready for it.

I use Mio, Dasani, or the Walmart brand of water flavorings. I checked with my dr about it when I 1st tried them. He said they were better than soda. I like that you can control the amount of flavor. Somedays I want a little more, others I want less. It helps because I really didn't like water. Now, I drink plain water too…

Lost 3 lbs so far. I haven't checked the other measurements yet.
-
Yes, I have. Thank you.

I used to try to workout barefoot but it wears on the knees and the legs too much. Congrats on completing level 1!

New hard on level 2 is the last ab circuit. Still trying to make it all the way through that one.
