Week 2, day 1 bushmen done. Those burpeess are KILLER! I had to split up into 5 sets of 10. But I did feel pretty accomplished afterward. I also ran/walked the 3.1 miles for a team bonus. Did the bear walk - that's some hard stuff! I also did the Bushmen challenge today but definitely couldn't do it all in a row. 3.83 miles today! I actually ran a whole mile without stopping to start off! I am NOT a runner at all, but it is getting easier. Glad this MYA challenge (from August too) is motivating me to run more. I'm feeling good. Ticker updated.

Done for the day! Stayed under on my calories and drank the water. For the exercises I actually did the Bushmen challenge! It took awhile, and I was exhausted after it but I felt really powerful! I'm planning on doing the Bushmen tomorrow too and I'll do the bearwalk as well. Keep it up everyone! We can do it!

Although I didn't meet my goal in August (fell 6ish miles short of 70 miles), I'm going to up my goal to 75 miles walking/running. That's an average of 2.5 miles a day. I can TOTALLY do it, as long as I don't fall behind. Can't wait to move my *kitten* so that I can lose my *kitten* (or at least make it smaller...) Good…

I didn't get to run today because I overworked my knee yesterday, but at least I moved my *kitten* in August. I'm going to give it another try in September and try to spread out the miles better :) Thanks for this challenge and hopefully I'll make it next time.

Everyone on this thread amazes me! So glad we are staying active :) Today I ran/walked 6.5 miles on the treadmill. It took about an hour and a half, but I watched the Glee prom episode during it, so that made it even more awesome.

Crying helps me when I'm stressed. Even if I can't cry on my own, I watch a sad part of a movie (the bar scene in Step Mom does it for me every time), and then I just let the tears flow. 6.54 miles today - my longest continuous walk/run ever! I am SO close, only 6.6 miles tomorrow. My legs are pretty weak, but I have to do it. I can't fail my first challenge! Although next month, I'm hoping to spread it out a little more...

Do we get the same amount of points for doing the pygmy exercises as the bushman? Starting out I think I will only be able to do the pygmy ones, but maybe I will try the advanced?
