I also recommend fitnessblender.com. I like how you can search for workouts by length of time, equipment yes/no, level, etc. They are generally very easy to follow, always give modifications for easier and harder than the typical way, you can save workouts to your Favorites once you create an account, and there are…

41 minutes on cardio machines including treadmill, rowing machine, and stair climber.

I also have a Shiva Rae DVD that I use sometimes.

I work out at home or outside. I like www.fitnessblender.com. Easy to follow, no music - but you can provide your own entertainment. All different levels and choices.

I make my own popcorn in a heavy pot with just enough oil to cover the bottom of the pot. I add salt, but no butter. I don't like the artificial fat that comes with some of the lo-cal microwave ones. I love popcorn!

Wow !!!! If you can do this, you can do whatever you set your mind to do!

You can add me. I am 54 and have 10 pounds to go ... which I have been working on for a loooong time.

My teenagers sometimes eat "General Mills - Nature Valley - Protein Chewy Bar - Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate" (how it's listed in MFP) and say that there is less sugar than many other bars. They taste pretty good, are relatively inexpensive, and available in many stores.

You can add me. I am 54 and on MFP for a little over a year.
-
Great success - you should be proud of yourself!

Do two sets of 20 push ups.

Hello, Welcome to MFP. I am 54 and on MFP for a little over one year. Very slow at losing these last 10 pounds, but I am on often and often log food and exercise. You may add me as a friend.

I have free weights left over from my husband and son about 3 times/week. I have some exercise DVD's and use a hula hoop and a stationery bike in front of the TV. I also walk and sometimes run outside and lots of yard work, housework, hiking sometimes. The gym works for me when it is convenient, but I always find things to…

Clearing my sinuses with a Neti pot or Neil Med spray bottle helps to make me feel better - as long as my sinuses are not so swollen.

Carrots dipped in peanut butter.

Thanks for the information. Now that you mentioned this, my extra heart beats that I experienced for a while are no longer there after being wheat free for about 18 months. Other problems cleared up too, unrelated to the original sinusitis and post nasal drip that went on for over three years - the orignal problem that I…

I have a friend who calls it "simple food". I have quite a few diet restrictions anyway, but I feel best when I stay away from processed foods - those whose ingredients I don't know or cannot pronounce.

I am trying to do low carb, so mine are 20% carb, 30% protein, 50% fat. I just increased my fat and decreased my carbs today, so I don't know how this is going to work. I am also a vegetarian and cannot eat milk products or wheat. I definitely feel better when I have less sugar and carbs, but increasing my fat might be a…

I like coursera courses. Thanks for sharing.

I interrupt people when they are talking.

My June Goals- Figure out how to get off of my plateau weight that I have been on for months! Do strength training as much as I do cardio. Increase the minutes of HIIT in my cardio workouts. Cut out all added sugar/honey. Meditate for at least 5 minutes 5 days a week. Jean, San Francisco Bay Area

I have to try this. It sounds like decaf might work for me in the evening when I am often the hungriest. Thanks for all of the suggestions.

I eat a lot of the same things every day. I think that it is okay if you find what works for you and you like it and it fits your calorie intake. When I get bored, I find other things to eat.

Congratulations - you look great!

I have used Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey powder that I bought from amazon.com for my son. I liked the taste in smoothies. I cannot have milk products anymore, including whey, so I am looking for another protein powder now.

I cook popcorn in a heavy pot on a stove with a little oil - enough to make it pop. I add salt to it later. I don't like the taste very much with an air popper or with a paper bag in the microwave, so I opt for the calories from the oil.

I have used the Optimum Nutrition Chocolate protein powder and mixed it with almond milk and fruit, and it was good. I have a milk sensitivity and the whey bothered my sinuses a lot, so I had to stop using it. But, it did not upset my stomach at all.
