Did you see the recent post showing 6 month low carb success?
-
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS! You never see success stories on the forum from low-carbers! Can I ask how many carbs you were eating/day??

almond...look at your local co-op or whole foods store where you can grind your own! (i.e. push a button and watch a machine squeeze nuts into creamy butter)

Thanks for your input. I think I'm going to try 1600 for the next 3-4 weeks to see if I lose weight.
-
It takes 4 weeks for you to notice a difference, 8 weeks for your friends, and twelve weeks for a stranger. Don't give up.

I can't believe how big this group is getting in ONE day. Welcome everyone! IT IS TIME TO GET IN SHAPE!
-
If you're still taking group members I'd love to join. 20 lbs is my goal and I SERIOUSLY need some motivation!
-
Yeah, I'll start tomorrow. I gotta get in GEAR. Let's do it. I'm adding ya'll...should I make a group?

I've found that sticking with unprocessed food like vegetables and meat (not chips crackers bread) helps because as soon as I have those other things I want MORE of them. I've identified things in my diet that are "trigger" foods that make me want to binge and I avoid bringing…

I fail at a being a group member! I should post pictures too, for accountability. I have been taking them...it's just that I haven't seen any progress so I'm kinda ashamed...in fact, due to a sedentary desk job, I've gained fat since the December photo I took end of November...BUT I guess that's just more of a reason to do…

Amazing! Way to go! Love the blog too, btw.

Thank you so much! I needed this! My birthday is in 7 weeks and I need a change!

I love hearing this! I ditched my scale a while ago because I was relying on it too much. Sometimes I regret it and want to go out and buy another one, but this post makes me feel good that I did the right thing. If I want to weigh, I can do it at the gym.

Well I started the thread for motivation because I've been on MFP for 50 days and it's been a hella a rollercoaster with little success, but things that always keep me going and make the journey easier are: 1) Cooking on Sundays and planning and preparing meals for the week 2) STAYING active, which can be easy to slip in…

vanilla or chocolate protien powder! I add Show me the Whey vanilla and then dip apples into it...sooo good!

There is no difference in diet. Just a difference in name. Mark Sisson coined the term "Primal" but he is refering to how people ate in paleolitic times (i.e. paleo)

I drove 6 hours to partake in a marathon and realized half way there I had forgotten my shoes. I got new ones that day, ran the race the next and everything was hunky dory. I say get new shoes now.

Congrats on your success! You have such a tiny waist!

Hey Great job! You should try Ripped in 30. You would love it if you like 30DS and its a bit more of a challenge, but there is also more variety. It flys by!
