Yippeee!!! It's so awesome when someone else notices how hard you're working :-) Good for you (and good for your hubby)!

That is such a great feeling! Congrats :-)

I have a FitBit, and get to see how all of the walking around while cleaning adds up to calories burned on MFP. SERIOUS motivation! I also watch Hoarders: Buried Alive, which makes me get off my *kitten* and clean like a maniac! Try logging your cleaning as a workout. You may find the calorie burn more motivating than the…

Congratulations! You've made amazing steps toward a healthier lifestyle. I love that you've made this journey about being healthy and a good role model for your son. Quitting smoking is SUPER tough, even for a light smoker. You're a great role model for all of us :-) Keep it up!!:drinker:…

I am a totally uncoordinated white girl. Sometimes my body does NOT do what the instructor's does. I just improvise. The point is to have fun and burn a few calories. You may not be a Fly Girl tomorrow, but your abs, back and legs will likely be sore :-) Enjoy! P.S. Everyone else is worried about how they look, too!

awesome! each day is a new journey.

What strikes me the most as I progressed through the pictures is the confidence that you have built throughout this journey. It's obvious by the smile on your face and body language in the newer pictures that you are proud of yourself and feel happy. And you should be proud! What an amazing journey you are on. Keep up the…

I ran 4 miles in 34 minutes today! And I measured my waist and have lost 1/2 inch in the last 4 weeks :-)

WOW!!! You look amazing!

also not a "hot chick" flirting. What an amazing transition in such a short time! I stopped eating meat in January, and have found that losing weight is easier (as long as I don't load up on carbs). If you have any recipes, please share!!

Good for you to get out there and just do it! You've proven to yourself that you CAN! Awesome job :-) You should be super proud of yourself!!!!!

I am also a sugar addict. I did a 21-day challenge of no sweets. I still ate lots of fruit, but no cake, candy, cookies, etc. The first few days were really hard, but it definitely got easier as time went on. I finished in early March, and don't crave sugar like I used to. I feel WAY better now.

ROFL!!!!

Because I snack on fruit and raw veggies a lot, I sometimes find it tough to hit the minimum # of calories for MFP to not yell at me when I close out :-) I add things like all natural peanut butter to my bananas or apples, protein shakes and nuts to help my body get what it needs. I've started training for a race, and find…

I think it depends on the person. As one who has been in treatment for an eating disorder twice in my life, I find MFP to be a healthy way to be conscious of my health, not just my calories. Just yesterday, I was near the end of the day and hadn't eaten enough calories. Seeing the calorie count made me realize that I…

I always tell myself that I've frequently regretted NOT working out, but have NEVER regretted doing it.

That's awesome! Very motivating :-)
