imo it doesnt matter when you eat as long as you keep within your daily caloric intake goal. if you've reached your calories for the day, i suggest eatting a small salad or perhaps some rice cakes as they are low in caloric value. cant go to bed hungry know what i mean? lols

usually like to have some oatmeal with some walden farms 0 calorie syrup and a protein shake. intra workout i l ike to have gatorade mixed with bcaa's and glutamine. and for my post workout usually another shake and rice with some kind of meat; usually chicken.
