You are most likely going to get some people that say yes eat more and some that say no don't. Personally, I think every person has to find what works best for them and makes them feel the best! If you stop losing or start to feel crappy, you could try upping your calories. Or you could try upping them now and see what…

First off... CONGRATULATIONS! I have a long ways to go until I reach my goal but I have rewards for myself along the way to keep me going... When I reach my goal I am going to get a budoir photo shoot. I have always wanted one so I figure that is a perfect time!

Congratulations!!!! You look fantastic!

 Wow! Such an inspiring story!! I did the exact same thing back in 2008. Lost a bunch of weight and then just gave up and gained it all back with an extra 45 pounds so here I am again. I am now doing it for the right reasons. I have learned to love myself the way I am now and I am losing the weight for that reason.…

Are you counting your calories? How many are you eating in a day?? Maybe you aren't eating enough for the amount of exercise you are doing??
-
Upping calories will probably show a gain at first but will adjust itself after a few weeks. It would be due to water weight I would think. In order to actually gain 2.6 pounds, she would have had to eat 9100 calories over her maintenance calories.

I love Kashi! The Go Lean Crunch is my favorite. I don't like soggy cereal and that one stays nice and crunchy while I'm eating it and keeps me full for a long time also!

Why not?? My best friend is a guy and I actually have more guys friends than girls! I am married and my hubby is totally cool with it. We have a loving and trusting relationship so there is no reason for him to be jealous.

I have lost 17 pounds and have 100 more to go. Feel free to add me! Love having new friends

Hi there! I have 100 more pounds to lose to be at my ultimate goal weight and am always looking for new friends to encourage and get encouragement in return. Feel free to add me if you like!

Caffeine is actually a diuretic. I wouldn't count it towards your water intake. If I have a pop, I actually drink 2 extra glasses for every can I drink so that I know my body is still hydrated.

What a great feeling! I didn't get rid of any of my smaller clothes. I have my favorites hung up so I can see them as motivation and all the rest in totes in my basement so I have them when I need them!

Good for you!! That is still something I am working on and hope to get to that point soon!!! :flowerforyou:
-
Congrats on your loss!! I also reward myself for mini goals along the way and it really helps to keep me motivated!!

I haven't experienced this personally but maybe when you are close to 209 focus on measurements and don't weigh yourself for a while. That way, you will blow past 209 without even realizing it. It can be helpful to ditch the scale, at least for a little while, because we get so focused on that number. Measurements are an…

Count me in!! This sounds like exactly what I need. :)

VERY impressive! My PB so far is 11293. Working on getting that higher! I set my Stage 1 target at 12500.

You look amazing!! I have always wanted to try Zumba but have been too chicken to go (I hate working out in front of people). I may need to just suck it up and go!!

This is my second year doing the GCC. Team name this year is the Lean Mean Steppin' Machines. I just love this challenge, and am hoping to beat my step average from last year. :flowerforyou:

I just looked at your diary and you are burning quite a few calories every day. Weight loss isn't a one-size-fits-all deal so what works for some doesn't work for others but you could try eating back at least some of your exercise calories and see if that helps. I don't always eat back my exercise calories but sometimes I…

Couldn't agree more. I don't eat back all of my exercise calories. I try to eat back some but if I'm not hungry I don't. I find that I eat more back if I worked extra hard during a workout. It is all about learning to listen to your body so you can maintain this lifestyle change for the long haul.

What is your calorie goal? If you are eating below that by 1000 calories, you are probably eating too little as you are quite active.
-
If you are following the MFP method, you are already eating at a deficit so if you burn more and don't eat it back you are creating an even larger deficit which is not enough to fuel your body for normal daily functions plus the exercise you are doing. It took me a long time to start eating my exercise calories back…

Use oil when cooking meats and veggies, avoid low fat or fat free options, snack on nuts (small portions, high calorie so you won't have to eat lots), add peanut butter with some fruit.

I agree with this!

I also am a maid-of-honor to be! January 25, 2014. Feel free to add me for some motivation if you would like!

Thank you for the laugh! I am sure my office neighbours are wondering if I've lost it! I must try this app on my phone!!!

I agree! I had purchased it for the 90 day challenge and it was terrible. I was starving and didn't enjoy the taste either. I did it for one day and seriously missed real food!! I can make a much tastier and filling smoothie out of food. I ended up giving it away.

Couldn't agree more!
