  • Mystery sort of solved. We got new scales and they only synced husbands weight to my apple health. So it's working on the fact I am 100kg rather than 66 :p Today is a much more reasonable TDEE of 2475, yesterday was 2200... Funny that B)
  • Thanks all Under my activity trends (so last 3 months) it's got me at 762cals/day, 10.4km/day and 48min/day exercise. I push my toddler in the pushchair to nap (so I've been doing that 5/6 days a week whilst lockdown was happening & I was furloughed/she was off nursery) and it takes 30-60 mins sometimes more :s The 25000…
  • I do cycle-and love it, but it doesn't let me get rid of the hell of my job in 30-60mins-I need 2-4 hours. It's been good for the last year, just slight pain occasionally... My general ROM for squats etc is good, it's just my big toe cannot bend up past about 20degrees... I was good until I did stuff barefoot on a board...…
  • Thank you all-that confirms what I was thinking :)
  • Ah ok, I will try very hard to do it the other way round :)
  • Sorry to butt in, but I was wondering with the mixed grip does it matter if you always have your hands the same way? I always have to have my right hand supinated, as it feels REALLY weird if I try and do that with the left hand? I'm not really lifting heavy (65kg dead lift today-yippee) but my grip fails well before the…
  • Thanks. You guys who have no problems with it-were you always on it and started doing exercise or did you start taking it whilst active and noticed no deterioration in performance? Yeahwhutevr that is sort of what I expect from what the GP said. Unfortunately triptans like zomig are out for me now-I used to have…
  • Thanks, the neuro suggested topimarate but I was terrified of the potential side effects, so GP has switched to propranolol. She said that it could be like hitting a wall-just nothing else left in the engine when it came to effort-eg up hills on bike etc.
  • Thanks everyone. It is definitely NOT lower back pain, just that dull ache that makes you know you worked hard :) My gym's T&C state no photography, but will see if I can sneakily film to check form With bench-its like I have difficulty keeping my wrists straight, even with a lighter bar-but I will try again next week (I…
  • I don't know how strava calculate their calories, but they do seem awfully mean for cycling, but generous for running! I did 26mile ride in 105minutes and it gave me 730cals, but a 6.8mile run, in 65mins gave me 780... It is linked to a HRM via tomtom mysports watch. This gives me maybe 600-650 for the run, and about 900…
  • The nutritional info is per 100g and katsu curry portion size is 350g or something. It is ridiculously high in calories, but oh so tasty!
  • I don't think I'm coming up too far, they hurt like hell, but I have read so much about heavy lifting and full ROM I worry just doing the bottom half is just putting extra strain on the muscle, but without a major benefit (I go deep on my squats in pump, it seems a lot of the other people in the class's "bottom" is my…
  • Ah cool, thank you. I am good at maths, but my brain was failing me today! I like those figures better :) Will have to do extra body pump to try and keep the muscle though!
