I did workout one on Saturday then did it again this morning as my "official" start. It was definitely a good work out. I agree with this. Sometimes it's easier to do the modifications but I need to remember to keep pushing myself and just try to improve each day.

I'm waiting for mine to arrive. Should be today!! I have done 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, NMTZ, and Body Revolution. I would love to hear any other thoughts you guys have had on the program so far. I was also scared of the preview videos I've seen. I saw some move where they go from a push-up to completely airborne. Holy…

I get so much crap from people for my early bed time!! Glad I'm not the only one who goes to bed so early. If I make past 9p--I consider it a late night  But when you get up before 5am you need to get some sleep!

I'm a morning exerciser. I literally sleep in my workout clothes. I roll out of bed and stumble down the stairs to do my exercise. I'm up at 4:45am. There are definitely days I don't feel like working out and occasionally I don't. But for the most part, it's a habit. It's the only time of the day I get a few moments for…

Always willing to have new friends! Friends that can make me laugh is just a bonus

Chocolate cupcake--perhaps not my healthiest choice but it was yummy

Not sure if this will work... About 25 lb difference so far

That was hilarious because I can totally relate. What makes us listen to that silly lady?!

I think it's a great motivator! I did my first 5k about a month ago and loved it. I started C25K quite a while back and never finished it after spraining my ankle. I did, however, continue exercising 6x/week and I would run here and there. The longest I had run was about 2.5 miles. I did the 5k without walking. It was a…

Just sitting here shaking my head...oh goodness. Thanks for the chuckle

I've tried to run with friends in the past and it hasn't worked out. I'd love to find someone who is available whenever I want and runs at my same pace--or slightly faster to keep me motivated  So since those are hard to find, I run alone. I do listen to music though. I think I might go crazy without music. Good…

Pictures don't lie huh? You're on the right path now! Welcome and good luck! Fee free to add me for support

Anyone can feel free to add me! I'm on every day. I'll help motivate

My youngest just turned 2 and I still have my c-section pooch. I think it has a lot to do with genetics if that will ever go away completely. Try doing weights that will help. My pooch is MUCH smaller than it once was but I'm afraid mine will never be gone without surgery. Dang it! Good luck

I'm a morning exerciser as well. Up at 4:45a on work days. I do different DVD's usually. My two little boys and husband are still sleeping and then I can shower and help get everyone out the door and still be to work by 7. I recently switched from 5am to 4:45am. I know it's only 15 minutes but waking up in the 4 o'clock…

Feel free to add me for support. I'm on daily. Tried to add you and it says your account is de-activated. I know MFP has been a little crazy lately so I'm hoping that's a mistake. Anyone else can add me for support too. I'm always willing to help

I completely get this. I was just trying to explain this exact thing to my sister. My family sees how far I've come so far and don't understand why I'm more critical now than I've ever been. Frustrating! I think we just have to believe that we are on the right path and just keep going. Good luck!

I workout at least 6 times a week--that won't tone up my skin. I realize there is no spot reduction. Like I said, I've come to terms with the fact that I will always have this extra skin. That often happens when you have 2 big babies by C-section.
-
I was just talking to my husband about my belly pooch! I've come to terms with the fact that it will probably never totally go away without surgery. Dang it!
-
Exactly--like I said, that part is not new and works for some. But the rest of it? A little extreme I'd say.
-
Yep, she did mention they were trying to sell them things. I'm not sure what exactly.

I'm at the end of week 9. I love Jillian Michaels!! Any of you can feel free to add me for some JMBR support--or any support :) Good luck!
-
You've got me a little nervous--I start 9 tomorrow! I was bored with cardio 2 so I did cardio 3 today to end weeks 7 and 8--wow. I think I was tired but it definitely kicked my butt. I can totally do this!

Awesome job! I just saw a statistic yesterday somewhere that said something like 72 or 75% of people who start an exercise program never finish. Who knows if it's true...but sounds about right to me. You should be very proud of yourself :)
-
I'm also looking into T25. I've also heard very good things about Turbo Fire. Has anyone tried that? Is there any info on the next release by JM? I prefer her DVDs that have a set time frame and more than one workout.
-
I'm horrible with names...I think I know who you are talking about though. She's actually one of my favorites. I can still see that she's struggling during certain moves. I could probably learn a thing or two from her constant positive attitude ;)
-
I love Mimi too :) I also like David--he just seems like a nice guy. You know who drives me crazy? Oh gosh I forget her name. The lady that has 3 kids. I feel like she never does moves correctly and she often only does them half way. I'm always yelling at her!
-
Moved on to phase 2 WO 7 today. Wow she really intensifies things! The plus side--it seemed to fly by! It makes me excited to keep going.

My family is generally supportive but they have their moments. When talking to my sister about my weight loss goals she responded that I looked really good and didn't need to lose anymore weight. She said it like she was genuinely worried about my health. Ok sister, well the BMI says I could stand to lose 20 more lbs. I…

I feel like I'm always talking about Jillian Michaels. She should be paying me. But....I love her different DVDs. 30 day shred uses interval training and are about 30 minutes. Easy to fit in and you can move up in intensity as you're ready. I'm sure there are other good DVDs as well but I don't have personal experience…
